Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer JT McInerney was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when CHILLI MITCH, a starter in Race 3, weighed in 1.1kgs above his last race start weight.
Trainer JT McInerney was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when HOMEBUSH FITZY, a starter in Race 5, weighed in 1.4kgs above his last race start weight.
Trainer JT McInerney was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when BILLY BAXTER, a starter in Race 7 weighed in 1.1kgs above his last race start weight.

Race 1 ADVANCE PERFORMANCE STAKES - C5 - 295 MICRO SISSY was tightened by SMART WAVES into the bend coming back on ROSIE RETURN. Soon after PRAISE BE and NICCA NOTCH came together both losing ground and filling the last two placings.
Race 2 NUTRI-ZING STAKES - HEAT 1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 WHO'S SHIFTY ran in after jumping checking SOICHIRO and JACKALICIOUS who settled at the rear. JACKALICIOUS ran on for fourth with SOICHIRO last. JALISCO (RD Blackburn) late scratching at Christchurch on 8 April 2008. Rule 68.26. 7 days up to and including 14 April 2008.
Race 3 CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP SPRINT - C4 - 295 KNOW FAITH was slow to leave the boxes. Into the bend CHILLI MITCH and HEZA LILL came together with CHILLI MITCH going back on KNOW FAITH and NITRO MARTA who lost all chance. KARL BAXTER (JT McInerney) left fore laceration. Dog presented. Veterinary certificagte supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 19 April 2008.
Race 4 NITRI-ZING STAKES - HEAT 2 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 The favourite SOLID HAND was slow to find his feet and was squeezed momentarily racing to the first bend, settled back in the field and failed to improve. ROBTITLE (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kenneling when found with a left stifle laceration. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 19 April 2008.
Race 5 www.canterburyproperty DASH - C5 - 295 Into the bend HOMEBUSH FITZY hit the hindquarters of DUWANNA HAND and dropped to the rear. Soon after PIZZA GIRL and SPARKLING WAVES collided and forced STRATUS BEKELEE and CAWBOURNE MOLLY wide on the track.
Race 6 NURTI-ZING STAKES - HEAT 3 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 Soon after the jump HEAR THE CHEERS and HAILSTONE ANGEL came together and checked DANCING JAZZY who dropped back and beat only the stragglers. CLAN CRUSADER who was a stride slow to jump was squeezed for room when trying to improve along the rail going into the back straight losing momentum and dropping to the rear.
Race 7 DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER DISTANCE - C1/2d - 732 COCKNY CODE walked out of the boxes and settled a long last. A post race veterinary examination revealed nothing was amiss. He was stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue the lure in accordance with Rule 80.1.b. COCKNY CODE (JM Jopson) Rule 80.1.b. Stood down for 28 days up to and including 6 May 2008 and to undertake a Satisfactory Trial.
Race 8 NUTRI-ZING STAKES - HEAT 4 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 Into the first bend DEAR ABBEY ran out and collided with ROBBITY BOB who was pushed wide on the track.
Race 9 BARRON'S SUPPLIES STAKES - C2/3 - 520 NITRO JAKE was very slow to leave the boxes. Into the home straight ALECIA RELTUB was bumped and lost ground as SMART THOMAS railed through on the inside.
Race 10 TRACKSIDE DINING 17 APRIL PH 338-6145 STAKES - C4/5 - 520 BAXTERS LAD collided with COASTERZAM into the first bend when near the lead. COASTERZAM finished last. SANDAVE (AD Williams) right hind 5th toe cut and infected. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 13 April 2008 BOATSWAIN WALLY (JR Goode) right fore inside sesamoid pain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 15 April 2008. LAGOON LAD (JT McInerney) scratched at Christchurch on 8 April 2008. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 11 April 2008.
