Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer JP Foot was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11. when THUNDER FOOT weighed in at 31.0 kgs which was 1.3 kgs under his last race weight on 27 March 2008.

Race 1 CAROL'S TABS MAIDEN SPRINT - HEAT 1 - C0q - 318 Heat 1 Favourite WEE MCGREGOR was dragged down from behind soon after the jump losing ground and settling well back. Tightening from the outside caused ONE LESSON to stumble for a stride soon after the jump wider on the track. ONSET was tightened into the first bend between HOMEBUSH WHAT and STOLEN THUNDER losing many lengths and checking MISS SILENCE and ONE LESSON with these two dogs losing all chance. ONSET recovered for third. Shortly after this STANS THE MAN was squeezed between HOMEBUSH WHAT and an improving WEE MCGREGOR resulting in STANS THE MAN falling. He completed the course with a post race veterinary check revealing carpal and sartorius muscle tears with a ten day stand down recommended. STANS THE MAN (G Calverley) left accessory carpal ligament sprain and right sartorius muscle tear. Rule 82.1. 10 days up to and including 15 April 2008.
Race 2 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS SPRINT - HEAT 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 BIGTIME NEV was tightened and jostled as he attempted to move away from the rail into the bend losing its handy position and settling well back. THUNDER TOK (PG Lowen) split web. Rule 64.14. 28 days up to and including 2 May 2008.
Race 3 CAROL'S TABS MAIDEN SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C0q - 318 Heat 1 SHY NEENA and THUNDER FOOT were slow to jump settling well back. Into the bend the favourite THANK YOU SEAS was clipped from behind by SHY NEENA who was attempting to improve and ran into THUNDER FOOT on his outer falling as a result. THANK YOU SEAS completed the race and was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed no injury.
Race 4 CAROL'S TABS MAIDEN SPRINT - HEAT 3 - C0q - 318 Heat 1 STORM WATCHER and HEY HEY were tightened in the early stages and came together when well back. The favourite DEVIL'S COUNTY was jostled in the run to the bend but once he found racing room powered away to win impressively.
Race 5 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 CAWBOURNE WAY was checked from behind by CREEK DIAMOND into the bend and ran outwards. As a result KINSALE LAD was tightened for room and fell hitting the outside fence in the process. A post race veterinary check of KINSALE LAD revealed pectorial bruising with a ten day stand down recommended. WHERE'S MARK was slow to jump but received a rails run to avoid the skirmish and finish third. KINSALE LAD (GN Pomeroy) bruised pectorial muscle. Rule 82.1. 10 days up to and including 15 April 2008.
Race 6 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS SPRINT - HEAT 3 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 MUMBLE JUMBLE and WAIKIKA PIRATE came together into the bend with MUMBLE JUMBLE losing a couple of lengths. Soon after THRILLING HELEN bumped CAWBOURNE DI on her outer and lost ground as did CAWBOURNE MELODY who was unable to avoid this pair.
Race 7 JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS STAKES - C4/5 - 527 Favourite SLINGBACK and KILLER TOUCH were both slow to jump. SLINGBACK got a rails run into the first bend as LOBBY LLOYD checked outwards off the pacemaking MOOD SWINGER with SLINGBACK going on to win impressively. WATCH THAT WHALE (SC Mann) left hip support myositis. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 11 April 2008.
Race 8 GUADA FIESTA BAR SPRINT - C5 - 318 WAITAK THUNDER and CAWBOURNE CATHY came together into the bend and lost ground as did ROYAL DOLL who was right in behind them. These dogs filled the last three placings.
Race 9 MEADOWSET GRAPHICS SPRINT - HEAT 4 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 CAWBOURNE JESSIE tightened SALLY'S BABE and DELLACQUA in the early rush with SALLY'S BABE losing a couple of lengths. KENMARE appeared to be clipped from behind by CENTRAL CYRUS into the bend and fell. The dog didn't complete the race and appeared to be in distress and a post race veterinary check revealed a torn gracilis with a twenty eight day stand down recommended. NOTE that this dog was re-examined on 12 April and no gracilis injury found. Accordingly the stand down is rescinded under Rule 82.6. TO THE MAX ran inwards on the bend coming into contact with MIDNIGHT SPOT and fell. A post race veterinary check of TO THE MAX revealed no injury.
Race 10 THE ALAMO BAR & GRILL 6 PACK - C3/4 - 318 DRILLING DAM and FLAT WHITE were the last to jump. DRILLING DAM was also checked into the bend and lost ground. RIALTO MISSION ran outwards slightly on to ROYAL ESCORT into the bend who in turn pushed HOT DOC wider around the bend with both dogs losing ground.
