CRYSTAL SAL was observed to jump shadows in the home straight when leading but held on to win. One of the favourites KIWI ASSASSIN was away well from box 2 but eased when challenged on the outside on the first corner and went from 2nd place back to several lengths last and remained there to the finish. KIWI ASSASSIN was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury and was stood down for 28 days for failing to pursue. DANCING TESSA and THRILLING SWAY were checked and lost ground starting the first bend and OUR PRICE was checked and lost ground entering the back straight.
