Judicial report: Weather: Fine S.P.Clark the Trainer of FLY BEAU was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when the dog was presented 1.1 kilograms underweight.
B.Cole the Trainer of DEL TONES was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.3 kilograms overweight.

Race 1 MCENTEE EVENT HIRE - C3 - 305 THRILLING BURN and HOMEBUSH BELLA jumped on terms with the other runners but were checked back to the rear soon after and lost all chance of a placing.
Race 2 WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C3 - 520 One of the favourites PINK RELTUB was very handy on the final bend but was galloped on by AUSTIN and drifted back to finish in last place. AUSTIN also lost ground in the incident and finished back in 6th place. PINK RELTUB was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. Another well supported runner SUSIE THE FLUZY was handy until the end of the back straight but drifted slightly from there, was checked near the home turn and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 3 KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C2 - 520 The favourite FLY BEAU was slow to begin and then raced wide over extra ground on the first bend but made up some ground to finish in 5th place. BIGTIME PAUL B.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from a shoulder injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 31.03.08. Papers to be presented for endorsement.
Race 4 www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C1f - 520 The favourite THRILLING TASHA was checked in the first few strides and was then bumped and pushed wide on the first bend and lost all chance of a placing in those incidents. She finished in 6th place. LOTTO BALLS A.Duganzich Rule 64 Suffering from metatarsal pain and stood down for 14 days to and including 09.04.08.
Race 5 KEENAN CONCRETE WANGANUI CUP - C5f - 520 MAJOR CONQUEST and IN THE MOB bumped on the first corner and IN THE MOB then checked off the heels of MAJOR CONQUEST soon after and they lost ground and never recovered finished well back.
Race 6 GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C4/5 - 520 KINGS CONQUEST moved in on the first corner and crowded other runners with CREATIVE TEQUILA and STRETCHES being the most affected and they tailed the field by several lengths until the finish. CREATIVE TEQUILA in particular finished a long last, was examined by the vet and stood down for 14 days with a wrist injury. CREATIVE TEQUILA B.Cole Rule 82 Checked and suffered a wrist injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 10.04.08.
Race 7 ALLIED WORK FORCE - C5 - 305 All clear.
Race 8 MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C4 - 520 All clear.
Race 9 MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C5 - 305 BOTANY ROY was handy to the first corner but was checked and dropped back to last and never recovered, finishing in 3rd last place.
Race 10 DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C4 - 305 THRILLING KEA was checked on the first corner and dropped back to finish in last place. BIGTIME RETRO checked off the heels of SIR KRETION on the bend and they both lost ground and finished in 4th and 5th place.
