RUSHMORE REASON who was outside those runners appeared to suffer an injury at that point and dropped out to finish several lengths last but it could not be conclusively established what caused the injury. RUSHMORE REASON was examined by the Vet and found to have suffered a fractured hock and attempts will be made to save him. He was stood down for 28 days.
