Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer Mr G.A.Lawrence admitted a charge of breaching rule 71.4 when he failed to ensure the catcher was present to catch Raccy Skip in race 4. Mr Lawrence signed the charge sheet indicating he did not wish to be present at a hearing into this charge. A fine of $50.00 was imposed in this instance.

Race 1	JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS SPRINT - C0 - 318	Thrilling Amy, Miss Obedience and Fancy Alex were the slowest to begin. Fancy Alex was observed to go down on it's nose at the start this runner jumped very awkwardly. Stolen Thunder jumped smartly and then ran out checking itself and Thrilling Amy. Coleridge Annie ran inwards after the start and checked itself and Stolen Thunder when these runners contacted each other. Rib Cage and Coleridge Annie were observed to be racing in tight quarters with both these runners being checked in this incident. As the field raced around the first bend Rib Cage was squeezed for room and checked when Coleridge Annie and Miss Obedience came together. After this incident Rib Cage ran outwards forcing Thank You Seas onto Fancy Alex with these runners both suffering interferance.
Race 2	THERMOPEUTIC PRODUCTS SPRINT - C1 - 318	Bigtime Angel and Kinsdale Lad were the slowest to begin. After the start Thermostatic and Fervid came together with both of these runners being checked. Into the first turn Fervid was observed to cut inwards to the rail and in doing so cut across Bigtime Angel checking this runner Bigtime Angel after this check came out and contacted Kinsdale Lad causing a severe check to this runner. Kinsdale Lad ran outwards after this check and contacted Waikika Pirate checking this runner. Fervid cut in sharply at this point checking Bigtime Angel and Kinsdale Lad, Fervid was observed to strike the running rail after this incident and a post race vet check revealed no abnormalities.
Race 3	GREYHOUNDS AS PETS SPRINT FEATURE - C2 - 318	Favourite , Flying Squadron was observed to jump awkwardly and raced wide on the track in the run to the first turn this runner then ran inwards and contacted Thrilling Tom with Flying Squadron receiving a bad check at this point. Flying Squadron was observed to be galloping awkwardly and a post race vet check revealed no abnormality.
Race 4	LECTRO HAIR & BEAUTY STAKES - C0 - 527	Scarface Paw and Sunset Series were the slowest to begin. Onset and Scarface Paw came together for a stride after the start. At the Lure Fancy Eel was obseved to be knocked under the Lure and a post race vet check revealed no abnormality.
Race 5	PELORUS TRUST DISTANCE FEATURE - C1d - 603	After the jump Satsuma and Thrilling Red came together and in doing so squeezed Major Conquest to the rear causing this runner to be checked .
Race 6	GUADA FIESTA BAR SPRINT - C5 - 318	Super Hound and Big Pa came together after the start with both of these runners being checked for a stride. As the field raced around the home bend Longford Annie and Star Conquest came together for a stride with both these runners being checked in this incident. Trendy Son (G.R.Farrell) Bruised Superficial Pictorial. Dog Presented Rule 64 12, 7 days to and including 22-03-08.
Race 7	RODEWALD HART BROWN SPRINT - C3 - 318	Nutty Squirrel was the slowest to begin. Trasit began well and cut across forcing Black Elly onto Dreamaqueen and Austin, Black Elly was badly checked in this incident. Into the first bend it was noticed that Black Elly and Austin contacted each other again with both of these runners being checked. Black Elly was sent for a Vet Check following this race and revealed pain on extension of right shoulder. Black Elly (H.R.Bond) Pain extension right shoulder. Rule 82.1, 5 days to and including 20-03-08.
Race 8	OXYSHOT ELMORE OIL STAKES - C4/5 - 527	Kings Conquest was very slow to jump the video of the start was viewed several times and it appeared that this runner had trouble clearing the boxes. The starter reported this runner had yelped at the start, the cause could not be established. This runner was many lengths behind the field finishing in last place. A post race vet check of Dream trip revealed a left hind digit 5 nail injury . Dream Trip (G.B.Darcy) left hind digit 5 nail injury. Rule 82 .1, 7 days to and including 22-03-08.
Race 9	MEADOWSET GRAPHICS SPRINT - C4 - 318	Cawbourne Cathy was the slowest to begin. Racing into the first turn Flat White and Black Book came together with both of these runners being checked in this incident. A post race vet check on Black Book revealed a recurrence of RF torn webb. Black Book (S.C.Mann) Re-Injured torn webb right front Rule 82.1, 7 days to and including 22-03-08.
Race 10	THE ALAMO BAR & GRILL 6 PACK STAKES - C1 - 527	Panda Jane was slow to begin. Racing into the first bend Creek Diamond ran outwards forcing Riconiak onto Stand Out Matt with the aformentioned all being checked in this incident. Following the running of this race a post race vet check of Positive Gold revealed a left fore digit 3 puncture & crush injury to pad. Positive Gold ( N.P.Green) L-Fore digit 3 Puncture /Crush injury to pad. Rule 82.1. 14 days to and including 29-03-08
