Judicial report: Weather: Fine RD Blackburn was fined $100 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when JALISCO weighed in 1.7kgs over her last race start weight.
GA Cleeve was fined $50 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when TO CASUAL weighed in 1.3k over his last race start weight.

Race 1 ADVANCE PERFORMANCE MAIDEN - C0 - 520 Soon after the jump HOMEBUSH WHAT ran outward and checked SMART SHARMILA both settling well back. SMART SHARMILA ran on to win with HOMEBUSH WHAT what finishing last. MANDY LIFEBOATS (RM McKenzie) was a late scratching at kennelling when found in season. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.25. 28 days up to and including 8 April 2008. HATIPOV (JR Goode) was a late scratching at kennelling when found to be sore in the left fore sesamoid. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 10 days up to and including 21 March 2008.
Race 2 CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP MAIDEN - C0 - 520 Soon after the jump TIPITS TO SMART and WILL SHE WHAT came together and settled at the rear of the field. ELY BRAND (JR Rush) left carpal sprain. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 24 March 2008. COALGATE CATCH (JT McInerney) in season. Rule 64.10. 28 days up to and including 8 April 2008.
Race 3 JET PETS ANIMAL TRANSPORT DASH - C0 - 295 HOMEBUSH BEX and NEED A NURSE were slow to leave the boxes. Into the bend HUGO FIRST and PAREORA LASS were tightened with NEED A NURSEA checked. Approaching the home turn HANSOME HARRY and HOMEBUSH BURT came together when vying for the lead with HOMEBUSH BURT colliding with .TOYA. As a result the trailing CAWBOURNE BURST was checked.
Race 4 SPEIGHTS SIX PACK - C2 - 520 Soon after the jump TOMAHAWK DOWN and ARTERIAL BALEA CAME TOGETHER. Around the first bend TOMAHAWK DOWN ran outward and collided with FIERY FALCON before checking out off FIERY FALCAON'S hindquarters. TOMAHAWK DOWN faltered and dropped out to finish a long last. A post race vet check revealed fractured metarsels of the right hind with a standown of 28 days. TRENDY OPAWA (MJ Flipp) sore in left hind leg. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 17 March 2008. GATLIN ANGEL (MJ Flipp) nominated by trainer in a 295 metre event and inadvertently placed in a 520 metre event. Withdrawn without penalty. THRILLING ZEUS (JR Goode) superficial fight wounds. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 15 March 2008. TOMAHAWK DOWN (GA Cleeve) fractured metatarsals right hind. Rule 82.1. 28 days up to an including 08 April 2008.
Race 5 BARRONS SUPPLIES STAKES - C1 - 520 WE LOVE PRINCESS jumped well but then drifted to the rear and stayed back. Into the bend SISTER DEE ran across to the rail and collided with JIMMY BLACKSMITH extinguishing both dogs chances.
Race 6 DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER DASH - C3 - 295 Into the bend CHILE WILL HE ran out and checked THRILLING FURY who was pushed wide on the track. CHILE WILL HE ran on well from midfield for fifth, THRILLING FURY stayed back and finished last.
Race 7 www.christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz STAKES - C1 - 520 DEAR ABBEY was slow to leave the boxes, lost more ground when running wide on the first bend but ran home powerfully late for third.
Race 8 FITZGERALD ARMS TAVERN STAKES - C1 - 520 Into the bend HAMBURGER ran off the rail and tightened SOUTHERN MAND and LAGOON MONROE who lost ground. Soon after ROBBITY BOB and MURPHY'S MISTAKE came together.
Race 9 CANTERBURY O.T.B ASSN STAKES - C1 - 520 CLAN DESPERADO was very slow to jump and settled back. Around the first bend DIAMOND ELITE checked out off MR BONZALES forcing KNOW TITLE and CLAN DESPERADO wide on the track, these two dogs filled the last two placings.
Race 10 BACK HERE TOMORROW NIGHT DASH - C2 - 295 The favourite HIGHWAY BAXTER was squeezed between dogs into the bend losing ground and when improving soon after was run wide by GROOVY SHOW, both finishing at the rear.
