Race 1	MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR - C2 - 305	JUST ROCKIN and TOUCH OF SMOKEY were handy to the first corner but JUST ROCKIN then galloped on the back of TOUCH OF SMOKEY and they dropped quickly back to the rear and finished in the last two places. COMICAL ALI and KRISSY BALE both ran wide over extra ground on the bend and they finished 5th and 6th.
Race 2	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C1 - 520	The favourite THRILLING CHASE was badly placed adjacent to the rail on the first corner, was checked and went back and out causing a severe check to HOMEBUSH ABEL who dropped back to the rear and finished well back. THRILLING CHASE recovered to finish well for 3rd place.
Race 3	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1/2 - 520	Due to a power failure to the lure, the meeting was put back by three races while repairs were carried out. This race was started exactly one hour later than the original scheduled start time with the last race rescheduled to start at 10.35 p.m. The hot favourite CAWBOURNE KERRY was a little slow to begin from box 8 but made ground well to be handy on the first bend. She was then checked starting the last bend and again entering the home straight and finished in last place. CAWBOURNE KERRY was examined by the vet as a precaution and cleared of injury. BENNY BAXTER Freeman & Turnwald Rule 64 Due to suffering from a tricep injury and stood down for 21days to and including 26.03.08
Race 4	WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM - C3 - 305	LESHITA moved out in the race to the first corner and jostled WILL ZAM and HOMEBUSH BELLA for a couple of strides. THRILLING TOM, GUS THE BUILDER and ICAN DRIBBLE were checked on the first corner and went back to the rear and finished in the last three places.
Race 5	NEW ZEALAND RACING SERIES #14 - HEAT 1 - RESq - 520 Heat 1	JAMES BEE, JONNY MARCO and THRILLING PIPER collided and lost ground on the first bend. JONNY MARCO recovered to finish 3rd while the other two finished at the rear. MY ESSENCE G.Phillips Rule 68 A late scratching due to suffering from a wrist injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 13.03.08.
Race 6	NEW ZEALAND RACING SERIES #14 - HEAT 2 - RESq - 520 Heat 1	All clear.
Race 7	NEW ZEALAND RACING SERIES #14 - HEAT 3 - RESq - 520 Heat 1	The favourite MR CLONTARF was last away after drawing box 8 and was last to the first corner, received a slight check entering the final bend but then made up ground to finish in 2nd place. COLOUR WASH was checked back to last on the first corner and stayed back to finish in 2nd last place.
Race 8	ALLIED WORK FORCE - C4/5 - 520	This race started 2 minutes late at T.A.B controls request. KING JOKER ran out from the start and checked WINSOME CHANCE who went back to near the rear.
Race 9	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C5 - 305	This race was started two minutes late at T.A.B controls request. HOMEBUSH BASMATI raced onto the heels of BIGTIME ELLA on the first corner and dropped back onto THRILLING POWER who also lost ground. They never recovered and finished in the last two places.
Race 10	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C3/4 - 305	CHARLIE CASH was handy to the first corner but was checked and dropped back causing checks to THRILLING KELLY and WACK. CHARLIE CASH recovered and ran on for 4th place but the other two stayed back and finished in the rear group.
