Judicial report: Weather: Fine B.Cole the Trainer of CATHY'S CHARGE was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.1 kilograms overweight.
B.Cole the Trainer of DADDY'S DESTINY was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 88.1 q when he was late scratching the dog which had been stood down at Manawatu on 03.03.08. In reaching the quantum of penalty, it was taken into account that both reserves had already made the field through other scratchings.

CAWBOURNE JULIE then raced onto the heels of HOMEBUSH ELMO on the first corner and again lost ground and they finished in the last two places. Race 2	MCENTEE EVENT HIRE DASH - C0 - 375	HATIPOV and DOUBLE DECLUTCH collided on the home turn and both lost ground. SNATCH A CRADLE racing outside these two was pushed wide in the incident. GOOD CATCH J.Woolston-Bell Rule 64 Suffering from gastroenteritis and stood down for 10 days to and including 11.03.07. BIGTIME ACTION S.Drysdale Rule 64 Suffering from a sartorius muscle injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 17.03.08. SMART TART T.McGillivray Rule 63.10 Scratched under distance from track rule.
Race 3	THE LION FOUNDATION SPRINT - C1 - 375	MANNIN THE WAKA was tightened and checked on the bend and went back to finish several lengths last. MANNIN THE WAKA appeared to make contact with the rail in the incident and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury apart from an abrasion to a stifle but no stand down required.
Race 4	OROUA DOWNS TANNERY - C1 - 457	GO GROOVY was handy until the straight entrance but then checked over the heels of HUTT PARK FLYER, lost ground and finished in 2nd last place. SUB THIRTY N.Green Rule 64 Suffering from a toe injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 31.03.08. Vet Cert requested from Trainer and to be supplied.
Race 5	KERB & CONCRETE SPRINT - C2 - 375	Trainer B.Cole was fined $ 50-00 for failing to scratch DADDY'S DESTINY by the required time. The two reserves had regained the field due to other scratchings. NICE CHOICE B.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from injuries to both quadricep muscles and stood down for 10 days to and including 14.03.08. DADDY'S DESTINY B.Cole Ex Manawatu on 03.03.08. JAW BORN B.Cole Rule 64 Now deceased.
Race 6	FREEDOM PRINT & DESIGN HOUSE - C1 - 375	All clear. CAWBOURNE SHOW Freeman & Turnwald Rule 64 Suffering from inflamation of a metatarsal and stood down for 14 days to and including 17.03.08. VINTAGE TOKEN B.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from kennel cough and stood down for 10 days to and including 13.03.08.
Race 7	DAILY GREYS TIPLINE 0900-42477 - C3 - 375	KIA KAHA was slow to begin and lost three lengths. THRILLING BURN galloped on the back of AFTERNOON DELITE on the bend and fell and AFTERNOON DELITE also lost ground in the incident and finished last. THRILLING BURN was examined by the Vet and stood down for 3 days to and including 07.03.08.with mild abrasions and bruising to a tibia. HEALING CRYSTAL S.Gommans Rule 64 Suffering from a quadricep muscle injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 12.03.08. THRILLING BURN Freeman & Turnwald Rule 82 Checked and fell and suffered slight bruising and abrasions and stood down for 3 days to and including 07.03.08.
Race 8	MANAWATU SOUND SERVICE - C0d - 766	FOUR WHITE SOX checked off the heels of WINSOME DIGNITY entering the back straight and moved out causing minor checks to CAPP MANNERING and THRILLING SUNNY who both lost a little ground.
Race 9	RADIO TRACKSIDE MANAWATU 828AM ON YOUR DIAL - C4 - 375	The favourite RED BIRD led until turning for home but then faded quickly to finish in 2nd last place. RED BIRD was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with an injury to a dectoideus muscle. PATTYS ANSWER G & S Hayden Holmes Rule 64 Suffering from a trapezius muscle injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 13.03.08. RED BIRD B.Cole Rule 82 Suffered an injury to a dectoideus muscle and stood down for 28 days to and including 01.04.08.
Race 10	OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - C2/3 - 457	SABA JEWEL was checked back to last in the race to the first corner and stayed in that position to the finish.
