Race 1	MASTER ROADS AND SERVICES - C1 - 290	FOUR WHITE SOX checked over the heels of SAMS RENEGADE and they ran very wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in the last two places.
Race 2	SOUTH WAIRARAPA VETS SERIVES - C3/4 - 290	BIGTIME RISK ran in from the start and caused checks to GUS THE BUILDER, NO WARNING and EMILY BREEZE who all lost ground and settled well back.
Race 3	WAIRARAPA TIMES AGE - C0 - 290	SNATCH A CRADLE checked off the heels of LILLI LANTRY and lost several lengths on the first corner. Soon after LILLI LANTRY was also checked and fell and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a shoulder injury. DRIVING FORWARD L.D.Bell Rule 64 Suffering from a stopper pad injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 28.02.08. LILLI LANTRY L.Bell Rule 82 Checked and fell and suffered a shoulder injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 07.03.08.
Race 4	KEINZLEY AGVETS - C1 - 290	THRILLING TWIST turned in the boxes and eventually finished the race a long distance behind the other runners. THRILLING TWIST was required to complete a box trial under Rule 72.13 and this was completed satisfactorily. One of the favourites THRILLING ELSA was away awkwardly and was then checked soon after as EVAMORE ran out and they collided. HUTT PARK FLYER Ex Manawatu on 25.02.08.
Race 5	TRUST HOUSE C2 FEATURE - C2 - 545	The race was abandoned after the box lids opened soon after the last dog was loaded and before the lure was set in motion. The runners ran the full distance of the race and the decision was quickly made to abandon the race. JUST A DRIP M.Gardner Rule 82 Suffered a webbing injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 07.03.08.
Race 6	BRUCE McLEAN PAINTER - C2 - 290	The programme was put back one race for the remainder of the meeting to allow remedial work on the box lids catch which had failed to hold. The race was all clear. THRILLING SNOW O.Marron Club scratching due to a grading error at the N.Z.G.R.A.
Race 7	WILLY WHAT WAIRARAPA CUP - C5 - 545	MR GULLIVER was checked on the first turn and dropped back onto DEBBIE BLUEFIRE and they both lost several lengths and finished in the last two places.
Race 8	HEADSTONES WAIRARAPA - C4/5 - 290	STRECHES appeared to falter entering the back straight and dropped out to finish several lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and stood dow for 10 days with a toe injury. STRETCHES J.Woolston-Bell Rule 82 Suffered a toe injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 07.03.08.
Race 9	HEADSTONES WAIRARAPA - C4/5 - 290	SOPHIE HALL was slow to begin and tailed the field throughout to finish in last place. GUNNADOO IT C.Morris Rule 68 A late scratching due to a seasonal condition and stood down for 28 days to and including 25.03.08.
