Judicial report: Weather: fine J M Jopson was fined $50.00 for presenting BIG DAPTO 1.3 kgs overweight from his last race weight of 27.9kgs on the 5.02.08.
TERROR JIM W J Hodgson stood down for 28 days for marring and failing to pursue the lure in race four.
BILL THE LAWYER B R D Cole stood down for 28 days for marring, now recinded under rule 80.4. after being re,examined by a veterinary surgeon.--------.

Race 1	MANAWATU RACEWAY SPRINT - C1q - 375 Heat 1	WATCH THAT WHALE was given a pre race vet check before going out to race and was passed fit On pulling up after the race WATCH THAT WHALE was noticed to be slightly lame and was sent for a veterinary examination were no abnormalities were found .
Race 2	RAY HUNTLEY MEMORIAL - C0f - 375	Soon after the start BIGTIME ACTION and JAYDEEMOORE came together for a few strides Not far in to the race HOMEBUSH ELMO was observed to be awkward in it's action and finished at the rear, he was sent for a veterinary examination, no abnormalities were found . ----------.
Race 3	MANAWATU RACEWAY SPRINT - C1q - 375 Heat 1	Racing in to the first turn SAMS RENEGADE came across on to QUICK LAUGH and THRILLING SWAY who was squeezed back at this point losing some ground BIG DAPTO was racing handy until the home turn where he was checked slightly by PISTOL LARRY and then observed to fade in the home run to run last, he was sent for a veterinary examination and was found to be suffering an injury requiring a 8 day stand down-- BIG DAPTO was up 1.3kgs from his last race start and the trainer was fined. ---- ----. BIG DAPTO J M Jopson injury to right popliteal muscle rule 82.1. 8 days stand down to and including 25.02.08.
Race 4	MANAWATU RACEWAY SPRINT - C1q - 375 Heat 1	TRAVEL HAPPY was slow to leave the boxes. Racing in to the first turn THRILLING TWIST changed ground outwards and took TRAVEL HAPPY and RODGER BAXTER wide around the top ben Coming in to and down the home straight RODGER BAXTER ran out of racing room and finished a good third. TRAVEL HAPPY was never able to get back in to contention from there on in finishing in the rear-- TERROR JIM was in the lead into the home straight and was observed to turn his head towards THRILLING LADY for a couple of strides and then did not pursue the lure to the line as required and finished a very close second, he was sent for a veterinary examination ,was found to have a fractured dew claw and was given a 14 days stand down,under rule 82.1. but this has been superceded by rule 80.1 a&b for 28 days for marring and failing to pursue. --------. Race 5	MANAWATU RACEWAY SPRINT - C1q - 375 Heat 1	KOBBLE UP was slow away As the made their way down to the first turn JULIE'S LADY came across on to CRYSTAL VIRUS, THRILLING BREE and SMALL HAND causing these dogs to suffer checks at that point, VOODOO CHARM then came across on to SIMON who was pushed over on to JULIE'S LADY who just ran out of room and fell , she recovered her feet and finished the race in last place KOBBLE UP was just behind the field at this point and was run very wide around the top bend as a result of this incident , but was able to cross to the rail soon after and ran a very gallant second placing at the finish JULIE'S LADY was sent for a veterinary examination , no abnormalities were found. ----------.
Race 6	OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - C2 - 375	Soon after the start there was buffeting between DADDY'S DESTINY(fav) and the dogs on the inside as they where trying to get clear of each other, soon after as the field made their way into the first bend DADDY'S DESTINYchecked back of the heels of THRILLING MELODY who came out and pushed STARLIGHT WOODS out wide, leaving DADDY'S DESTINY in between them,BOLD JENNI ran up on the back of DADDY'S DESTINY and almost dragged him down , these dogs could not get back in to the race from there on in.No dogs suffered any injuries in this incident. --------.
Race 7	FIRST SOVEREIGN TRUST SPRINT - C3 - 375	Racing in to the first turn WEONA PIRATE had to check back off heels and in doing so came out and forced HE'S A KIWI and TOUCH OF SMOKEY wide around the top bend HEZA BOOF was scratched ex wanganui THRILLING PARIS was scratched with an injury requiring a ten day stand down. ----------. HEZA BOOF ex wanganui 15.02.08. THRILLING PARIS K Walsh right sprainer tensor facial muscle veterinary certificate supplied rule 64.12. 10 days stand down to and including 27.02.08.
Race 8	DAILY GREYS TIPLINE 0900-42477 - C4 - 375	Soon after the start CREATIVE TEQUILA (fav) and MR FUGLES came together buffeting for some distance ending up with MR FUGLES getting up on the heels of CREATIVE TEQUILA and causing him to lose ground where he could not get back in to contention from there on in .
Race 9	MCENTEE EVENT HIRE SPRINT - C5 - 375	As the field raced in to the first turn FORCE OF REVENGE came across as THRILLING NEWTON came out and this caused severe crowding to BIGTIME ROYALE,RED BIRD, THRILLING NEWTON and MY GIRL REBBEKAH RED BIRD and THRILLING NEWTON were the worst affected in this incident being checked and racing wide around the top bend RED BIRD ran on well after this to end up in fourth placing .
Race 10	WIZARD HOME LOANS - C1/2 - 457	BILL THE LAWYER (fav) did'nt get the best of starts and soon after there was buffeting between BILL THE LAWYER and HOMEBUSH ABLE for some distance down to the first bend. About 50 metres in to the home straight BILL THE LAWYER was observed to turn his head towards SABA JEWEL as it went past BILL THE LAWYER was sent for a veterinary examination where he was found to have a badly split webbing between digits 2 & 3 on right front paw rule 82.1. 14 days stand down was given by the veterinary surgeon This has been superceded by rule 80.1.A. for marring ,and has been stood down for 28 days The stand down under rule 80.1a, has been recinded as BILL THE LAWYER has been re,examined by a veterinary surgeon under rule 80.4. and has been stood down under rule 82.1. for 21 days and until after the completion of a satisfactory trial. --------.
