Judicial report: Weather: Fine Handler R.P.O'Regan was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 71.4 after he admitted a charge of failing to catch BRIGHT CONQUEST after the running of Race 9.

Race 1 GREYHOUNDS NORTH MAIDEN DISTANCE SERIES FINAL - C0df - 630 KILLER TOUCH was slow to jump. Into the first bend TOTAL INFERNO checked outwards off SIMPLY BLESSED checking MR CLONTARF, KAIMAI BELLE, RIALTO ROSIE and KILLER TOUCH with these dogs having their chances extinguished. MR CLONTARF did exceptionally well to run third.
Race 2 DINSDALE DASH - C0 - 375 BLEMISH was slow to jump settling well back. There was no head on coverage available for this race.
Race 3 MATANGI MAIDEN - C0 - 457 CAWBOURNE GEORGA and SUNSET SERIES were tightened soon after the jump drifting to the rear. RACCY SKIP was checked into the bend with STAND OUT MATT losing ground in behind her. These dogs filled the last two placings.
Race 4 SUPERIOR CHUNKY DOG ROLL SPRINT - C1 - 375 THRILLING SLATE was checked by JILL soon after the jump and settled back. He ran on for fourth. Into the bend JILL checked off runners and received a couple of knocks as she drifted back through the field finishing last. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury.
Race 5 TAMAHERE SPRINT - C1 - 375 BILLY THUNDER and BIGTIME ANGEL were checked shortly after the jump and settled back. BILLY THUNDER received another check on the bend when ANNELIESE crossed him on the bend. He did well to run fourth. BIGTIME DANCER (DL Annette) laceration to right neck requiring stitches. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 13 February 2008. (Papers to be endorsed)
Race 6 FEBRUARY DASH - C3 - 375 Permission was granted for MOHICAN HARRY to box first under Rule 72.10. RIALTO GUN was tightened soon after the jump settling at the rear.
Race 7 T.A.B. PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE DASH - C2 - 375 All clear.
Race 8 THE INTERISLANDER - C4/5 - 457 Into the bend TEE SHIRT improved between SMART WAVES and CROWDED HOUSE. SMART WAVES dropped back sharply after this check while CROWDED HOUSE hit the running rail and dropped away with a post race veterinary check revealing cuts requiring sutures with a ten day stand down recommended CROWDED HOUSE (W Steele) cuts below left elbow requiring sutures. Rule 82.1 10 days up to and including 16 February 2008.
Race 9 WAIKATO RACEPIX STAKES - C5 - 375 All clear. There was no head on coverage available for this race.
Race 10 RACING HERE NEXT THURSDAY NITE - C1 - 457 WARNIE'S BLITZ checked outwards off SHEA SHERIE into the bend and ran wide around that bend losing ground. THRILLING WOLF (K Walsh) small tear to left triceps muscle. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 16 February 2008.
