Judicial report: Weather: Overcast Trainer JT McInerney was fined $200.00 for a breach of Rule 64.2. as a result of KRISSY BALE, a starter in Race 9, being withdrawn from her engagement. In written explanation McInerney confirmed that KRISSY BALE had been sold to new owners after fufilling her engagement at Wanganui on 1 February 2007 not realising she had an engagement at Christchurch. In view of his explanation in writing under Rule 64.5, no stand down was imposed on KRISSY BALE.

Race 1	ADVANCE PERFORMANCE SPRINT - C2 - 295	DASH DOT DASH eased off MULBERRY SNOOP'S hindquarters into the bend. Turning for home DASH DOT DASH and THAT VIRUS came together . They finished at the rear with MULBERRY SNOOP. CHILE TIME (GA Cleeve) torn left hind toenail. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 13 February 2008.
Race 2	CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP DASH - C3 - 295	The favourite LEA BAXTER was very slow to jump from the inside box. Into the bend ANOTHER NOTCH and MICKY FINN were tightened losing ground. Soon after AGENT BRISTOW was tightened by ADIO ROUTINE on her outer.
Race 3	THE INTERISLANDER STAKES - C3/4 - 520	KAKAMA was slow to jump and when improving into the back straight ran into LIMITED IMPACT, both losing ground to fill the last two placings.
Race 4	SCHULTZ PANEL & PAINT SPRINT - C1 - 295	The favourite CHILE WILL HE was slow to leave the boxes and then, in general tightening, climbed on the back of MISS WICKLOW both dogs badly checked and filled the last two placings.
Race 5	DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER DASH - C3/4 - 295	Racing into the first bend BELLY GIRL was squeezed for racing room and dropped out to the rear where she remained.
Race 6	ROBBIE'S BAR AND BISTRO STAKES - C0 - 520	Into the first bend SEMBAWANG RUGBY tightened PAULS A PUNK and MAJOR BLUE. As a result MAJOR BLUE ran out and pushed ANYTIME SOON sideways. Soon after MAJOR BLUE and SEMBAWANG RUBY collided. Across the top SEMBAWANG RUBY climbed onto ANYTIME SOON as both were attempting to improve around MAJOR BLUE
Race 7	GARDEN CITY CHEM DRY SPRINT - C3 - 295	Into the first bend CRACKER HAND was denied racing room in tight quarters and was unable to improve his position, dropping to the rear of the field.
Race 8	FITZGERALD ARMS TAVERN STAKES - C1 - 520	The favourite MR JAZZ was very slow to jump settling a clear last. Into the first bend AINT NO ROYAL, MY BAXTER, WE LOVE PRINCESS and GROOVIN'BAIN were tightened by dogs on their outer losing ground.
Race 9	KOLORFUL KANVAS DASH - C2 - 295	MOST ROYAL was slow to jump. Into the bend CHILE DAN and HOMEBUSH JOCK came together running wide and finishing well back. KRISSY BALE (JT McInerney) scratched under Rule 64.2. No penalty imposed on dog. Trainer fined $200.00. See judicial. MOST ROYAL (Hart/Taylor) cracked web left hind. Rulr 82.1. 7 days up to and including 11 February 2008.
Race 10	BARRON'S SUPPLIES R/A FEATURE - R/A - 520	BERT BADGER and PARANOVA were tightened by DREAMY HAZE soon after the jump. PARANOVA finished last.
Race 11	TUESDAY PLACE PICK STAKES - C2 - 520	PAUL BAXTER, COLDHARBOR, TRINITY THUNDA and TOMAHAWK DOWN were tightened into the first bend losing ground. TOMAHAWK DOWN finished on for third with the others at the rear.
Race 12	POWER FARMING LTD SPRINT - C0 - 295	BONNIE BEAU and CAWBOURNE PAC`E were very slow to jump. Into the bend BLOOMING MABEL was tightened between COREYS COMET and HOMEBUSH ERNIE losing all chance. These three finished at the rear.
Race 13	SOUTHERN TRUST DASH - C0 - 295	Into the bend CAWBOURNE BURST checked out off HOMEBUSH VALERIE forcing FACE OFF wide on the track. Soon after PAREORA LASS who was vying for the lead was squeezed between HOMEBUSH BURT and HOMEBUSH VALERIE and checked. She was hit by IMA BLUES BOY and fell heavily before regained her feet to finish the race. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury.
Race 14	FLAIR SPRINT - C1 - 295	MC MANNUS was slow to jump. Into the bend DECCA BALE was tightened coming back on SOUTHERN MAN and MC MANNUS. They finished at the rear.
Race 15	PICK SIX LEG ONE - C5 - 520	LAGOON PHOENIX was tightened soon after the jump settling last. He ran on late for fourth. LYRICAL BALE (ACRoberts) in season. Rule 64.10. 28 days up to and including 3 March 2008.
Race 16	MURRAY @ RE/MAX PH 03-371-5005 - C0 - 295	Around the bend CAWBOURNE SAM ran out coming in contact with LAGOON MONROE when vying for the lead. LAGOON MONROE finished the better to win.
Race 17	SUPER PETS - C1 - 295	DANCING FOR GOLD ran wide around the bend losing ground to finish last.
Race 18	BARRIE GURDLER SAND SUPPLIES - C3/4 - 295	WHISKY LEE GIRL ran out taking SLAVE DRIVER wide on the track. They finished at the rear. UPBEAT (MJ Flipp) healing spike wound to left carpus. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 10 February 2008. PAINT THE STARS (C Mitchell) right hind quick lacerated. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 9 February 2008. ASAFA BALE (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kennelling with bruising to the right hind third toe. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 10 days up to and including 14 February 2008.
Race 19	ADDINGTON FUNCTION CENTRE - C1 - 295	BOY GENIUS was tightened by WILLY ECHO into the bend losing ground to finish near the rear.
Race 20	SPEIGHTS SIX PACK - C3 - 520	ROMAN CASTLE and STARLIGHT JEWEL were tightened soon after the jump. At the end of the back straight IN TOM'S MEMORY and HOMEBUSH BUBBLES came together losing ground.
