Race 1 OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - C0 - 375 Soon after the start GATE TWO came out to get racing room and pushed MANNIN THE WAKA on to LILLI LANTRY and CAWBOURNE LOLA, these two dogs were inconvienenced the worst and filled the last two placings INTENTION KNOWN was a late scratching at kennelling on veterinary advice due to a throat injury INTENTION KNOWN P Freeman & A Turnwald injury to thorax on left side vet certificate supplied late scratching Rule 68.26. 10 days stand down to and including 13.02.08.
Race 2 TRACKSIDE RADIO SPRINT - C1 - 375 On the point of the top bend NATURE RULES got up on the heels of ELLES HOT and QUICK LAUGH who was in behind also had to check back to avoid these dogs-- TO THE MAX was subject to a veterinary examination post race to gauge its condition as it weighed in 2.6 kgs under its last race start, it was found to be physically fine ,apart from the trainer being fined no further action was warranted--------.
Race 3 OROUA DOWNS TANNERY - C2 - 375 At the start PRAISE came across the inside dogs and HOMEBUSH MAX and STARLIGHT WOODS suffered checks and HOMEBUSH MAX never recovered to finish at the rear. ARANUI FLASH had to check back off the heels of EBONY CYRUS on the point of the top bend as this dog was making ground around the field----------.
Race 4 KEVIN O'CONNOR & ASSOCIATES - C0 - 457 At the start TIGER INDY WOODS raced across the face of the dogs inside him and they all suffered checks to a varying degree Racing into the first bend KARAKA HABIT changed ground outwards sharply and forced CAWBOURNE JULIE very wide around the top bend As the field made its way into the home straight STAND OUT MATT galloped up on the back of TIZZY LEE BUCKET and almost dragged her down, both these dogs were going well at the time and in dividend bearing places and were unlucky to not finish closer-- THRILLING CHASE was a scratching due to a metacarpal strain--------. THRILLING CHASE G E Harding left metacarpal pain vet certificate supplied rule 64.12. 7 days stand down to and including 9.02.08. .
Race 5 DECOART LEVIN DASH - C1 - 375 TYPHOON GRACIE was slow away, but ran on well for third placing THRILLING HAZEL was a scratching ex Tokoroa ----------. THRILLING HAZEL ex Tokoroa 31.01.08.
Race 6 HIGGINS CONTRACTORS - C3 - 375 ELIE PARADISE ran wide into and around the top bend and beat one runner home BIGTIME KRACKER raced below par again and was sent for a veterinary examination , he was found to have metacarpal and flexon tendon damage and a fourteen day stand down was imposed NO WARNING was a scratching due to muscle injury HEZA BOOF was a scratching due to dew claw injuries CRYSTAL VIRUS was scratched due to a seasonal condition and was stood down for twenty eight days----------. NO WARNING C J Morris injury to the left gracilus muscle distall veterinary certificate supplied rule 64.12. 21 days stand down to and including 23.02.08. HEZA BOOF P Freeman & A Turnwald injury to skin under dew claw dog presented vet certificate supplied rule 64.12. 10 days stand down to and including 11.02 08. CRYSTAL VIRUS W T Hodgson in season rule 64.10. 28 days stand down to and including 2.03.08. BIGTIME KRACKER T McCracken & B Goldsack injuries to metacarpal and flexor tendon on right front rule 82.1. 14 days stand down to and including 17.02.08.
Race 7 FREEDOM PRINT & DESIGN HOUSE - C4 - 375 Racing down to the first turn there was jostling between WILL ZAM,BIGTIME ELLA and HOMEBUSH TERRA due to this dog trying to cross to the rail, they all suffered checks, with BIGTIME ELLA recovering the best to finish in third placing----------.
Race 8 DAILY GREYS TIPLINE 0900-42477 - C5 - 375 All clear
Race 9 INTERISLANDER - C3/4 - 457 OPAWA JAZZ jumped well from the boxes and led for a short distance, then beat a retreat through the field to finish in last placing, he was sent for a veterinary examination ,the trainer has advised that he will not be perservered with as a racing proposition JUST FOREVER jumped from the boxes and went racing into the first bend very wide .
Race 10 LION FOUNDATION - C1/2 - 457 Soon after the start DEL TONES raced across towards the rail and caused severe crowding to ROCKET WOLF,KYLE'S STORM and WARNIE'S BLITZ, and soon after FOUR WHITE SOX and ROCKET WOLF came together as they entered the first turn ----------.
