Race 1	MCENTEE EVENT HIRE - C1/2 - 305	Racing into the first turn LEUMEAH MISS came across and checked THRILLING FISH who then checked FREDERICK BAXTER(fav) causing him to run out wide around the bend. BLUE WATCH who was in behind these dogs had to take evasive action and ran very wide around the top bend losing all chance. FREDERICK BAXTER made up a lot of ground after this incident to run on for second placing.
Race 2	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1/2 - 520	All clear
Race 3	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C3 - 305	As the field raced into the first turn BIGTIME EXPRESS changed ground outwards and forced KIA KAHA very wide around the top bend
Race 4	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C1 - 520	Racing down to the first turn ROBTITLE came out and bumped HOMEBUSH HOUDINI who was trying to make ground at that point. As they made their way around the first bend there was jostling between THRILLING SUNNY ,DENNY JEWEL and DAPTO TOKEN as they came together for a few strides and ran wide as a result of this.
Race 5	INTERISLANDER - C5 - 305	As the field made their way down to the first turn THRILLING FLIRT came out and checked PAPAMOA LASS who lost ground and could not make it into contention thereafter.
Race 6	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C3 - 520	At the start there was tightning between THRILLING ACE,THRILLING POLARand GROOVY SHOT as ELITE PARADISE tried to cross over quickly racing down to the first turn. IN TOM'S MEMORY ran out of racing room as BAXTERS GENERAL was looking to get to the rail. IN TOM'S MEMORY recovered well to get back into contention to finish in second place On the turn out of the straight the first time THRILLING POLAR had to change ground outwards and in doing so took ELITE PARADISE very wide and this dog could not get into contention from there on in
Race 7	GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C4 - 305	At the start HEZA LIL ran in sharply and hit HILLYS TIP and soon after this BIGTIME ROYALE ran in sharply and hit THRILLING SKY who went back to the rear and ran wide in to the first turn and ran last by a few lenghts
Race 8	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C4 - 520	Racing in to the first turn THRILLING BURN had to check back off DAMAGE MODE and he ran wide around this turn At the end of the back straight THRILLING BURN raced past HOMEBUSH THORN and as he went towards the rail HOMEBUSH THORN got on his heels for a stride, THRILLING BURN was observed to be uncomfortable from ther on in and was sent for a veterinary examination ,no abnormalities were found no stand down required. ROYAL RICHIE A & J Hall Rule 68 A late scratching due to suffering from gastroenteritis and stood down for 10 days to and including 10.02.08.
Race 9	GEON WELLINGTON - C4 - 305	At the start there was jostling between the dogs in the middle of the field for a couple of strides as they got away from the boxes CHILLI MITCH(fav) was slow away and was checked back as they entered the first turn as he was endevouring to find racing room As the field entered the home turn CAWBOURNE BANDIT and CHILLI MITCH came together . CHILLI MITCH ran on gamely for fourth placing.
Race 10	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C5 - 305	As the dogs left the boxes there was tightning between FORCE OF REVENGE, LISA SHIRAZ, ZENSU and FANCYLINE resulting in LISA SHIRAZ being squeezed back to the rear. As the field went in to the first bend THRILLING GYPSY and LISA SHIRAZ both went wide around the top bend in trying to clear each other.
