Judicial report: Weather: Fine BC Dann the trainer of MICRO SISSY in Race 14 was fined $50.00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.4 kilograms underweight.
JT McInerney the trainer of HOMEBUSH KING in Race 17 was fined $50.00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.6 kilograms underweight.

Race 1	ADVANCE PERFORMANCE STAKES - C1 - 520	From the jump WE LOVE PRINCESS and MOUNT RILEY came together and jostled in the run to the turn, with MOUNT RILEY losing ground to finish sixth. Into the turn MY BAXTER moved outwards and came into contact with CONSTABLE KEITH which was crossing over from the outside, causing KNOW WHEN to become unbalanced before falling heavily and losing all chance when the trailing WE LOVE PRINCESS struck its rear. KNOW WHEN and FINE ARTS were subject to post race vet checks with KNOW WHEN having a sore left hind and back and a 10 day stand down recommended, and FINE ARTS showing swelling to the right hind distal medial metatarsals and a 14 day stand down recommended. KNOW WHEN (GA Cleeve) soreness to back and left hind after falling. Rule 82.1. 10 days up to and including 7 February 2008. FINE ARTS (LJ Waretini) right hind swelling to distal medial metatarsals and lameness. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 11 February 2008.
Race 2	CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP DASH - C1 - 295	In the run to the turn DANCING FOR GOLD moved outwards and lost footing when coming into contact with SMALL HAND, losing all chance to finish at the rear of the field. GO STRAIT THREW (JT McInerney) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Rule 64.12. 3 days up to and including 31 January 2008.
Race 3	THE INTERISLANDER SPRINT - C0 - 295	RAVAILLAC was very slow to leave the starting boxes, losing several lengths to finish last.
Race 4	DENTRESE KENNELS PH 033125746 DASH - C1 - 295	Into the turn BIG DAPTO clipped the heels of HIGHWAY BAXTER and fell heavily taking no competitive part in the race. A post race vet check revealed no injury was sustained in the fall.
Race 5	PERRY FOUNDATION STAKES - C5 - 520	OPAWA STATE was subject to a post race vet check which revealed a nail injury to the left hind leg with a seven day stand down recommended. OPAWA ROSE (R Adcock) stood down at Christchurch GRC meeting on 27 January 2008. Rule 82.1. left hind sesamoid sprain. 10 days up to and including 5 February 2008. ANOTHER LLOYD (JT McInerney) skin graze with swelling over left achilles tendon. Dog presented. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 4 February 2008. OPAWA STATE (JM Jopson) left hind nail injury with exposed quick. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 4 February 2008.
Race 6	KOLORFUL KANVAS SPRINT - C4 - 295	Into the turn an improving LEA BAXTER was struck in the rear by SLAVE DRIVER and then collided with NOT A WHATA before running on in the home straight for fifth. During the incident the favourite ZIGGY WAR CRY was checked and lost ground, tailing off to finish last, whilst BEAU was also pushed to the rear of the field but ran on strongly for second placing. MODERN ECLIPSE (A Hart & K.Taylor) deceased. CHILLI MITCH (JT McInerney) scratched at Christchurch GRC meeting on 27 January 2008. Rule 64.12.laceration to fore foot. 5 days up to and including 31 January 2008.
Race 7	NUTRI-ZING DASH - C2 - 295	On the turn GENISTA ASSASSIN crossed over and collided with SILVER CRISIS which went back on top of a trailing STYLISH HUGGIE with these two dogs filling the last two placings. GENISTA ASSASSIN ran on well for second.
Race 8	WWW.WILLYWHATATSTUD.COM STAKES - C0 - 520	Favourite AVANTZATA led to the end of the back straight and was then forced wide on the track when JIMMY BLACKSMITH ran outwards on the final turn. ANVANZATA tied up to finish last while JIMMY BLACKSMITH ducked down to the rail and came home well for fourth place.
Race 9	SHIRLEY VETERINARY CENTRE STAKES - C1 - 520	In the run to the first turn ALECIA RELTUB crossed over and came into contact with the favourite ELARA which lost ground but made this up down the back straight and pulled away to win convincingly at the end. BETTYSUE BALE (AC Roberts) left front lateral toe sprain. Dog presented. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and inclusing 4 February 2008.
Race 10	DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER DASH - C5 - 295	From the jump MR OPAWA crossed over and tightened MY GIRL REBBEKAH with both these dogs losing ground to fill the last two placings. On the turn KNOW SAY crossed over and struck ANOTHER LAUREL which lost several lengths to finish sixth. LAUGARNO DENNIS (MM Grant) muscle soreness right infraspinatis. Dog presented. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 2 February 2008.
Race 11	TUESDAY PLACE PICK STAKES - C1 - 520	In the run to the first turn CLAN CRUSADER crossed over and collided with MR BONZALAS which went backwards then ran outwards and forced JACKPOT JACK wide, with that dog finishing well back in seventh place.
Race 12	DAVID EMERSON CONSULTANCY STAKES - C2 - 520	COLDHARBOR and CHILE COMMAND came together into the first turn checking the running of PAREORA JACK which was forced to the rear and finished in last place. On the first turn an improving FREDDIE SAGE also received a check as COLDHARBOR and CHILE COMMAND continued to jostle but made ground steadily and finished on for third.
Race 13	NZ COMMUNITY TRUSTS DASH - C1 - 295	BOY GENIUS was tightened shortly after the jump and then received a check from KNOW WHAT on the turn and lost ground to finish seventh.
Race 14	BARRIE GURDLER SAND SUPPLIES SPRINT - C2 - 295	CHILE DAN checked off BIG BLUE BLITZ into the turn and forced HOMEBUSH JOCK wide on the track to eventually finish at the rear of the field. GATLIN ANGEL (MJ Flipp) right front triceps muscle injury. Dog presented. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 11 February 2008.
Race 15	PICK SIX LEG 1 STAKES - C2 - 520	All clear. GOLDEN MOVER (MM Grant) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 4 February 2008. LAGOON TALLIS (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kenneling with an infected nailbed in the 4th left hand toe. Dog presented.Rule 68.26. 10 days up to and including 7 February 2008.
Race 16	MURRAY @ RE/MAX PH 033715005 DASH - C0 - 295	All clear.
Race 17	COASTER'S TAVERN SPRINT - C1 - 295	MURPHYS MISTAKE was very slow to leave the boxes and ran out very wide to the turn before crossing over to the rail on the turn and running on fairly for sixth. OPEN FOR OFFERS was subject to a post race vet check which showed an injury to the medial ligament of the left front lateral toe with a 21 day stand down recommended. CALL ME (BC Dann) right fore 5th toe sprain. Dog presented. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 11 February 2008. OPEN FOR OFFERS (JM Jopson) injury to medial ligament left front lateral toe. Rule 82.1. 21 days up to and including 18 February 2008.
Race 18	GRAHAM BARRON'S QUICK RECOVERY SPRINT - C3 - 295	All clear. THRILLING FURY (RM McKenzie) scratched at Christchurch GRC meeting on 27 January 2008. Rule 64.12. laceration to hind fifth toe. 14 days up to and including 8 February 2008.
Race 19	BACK HERE THURSDAY NIGHT DASH - C4 - 295	PAINT THE STARS was squeezed up into the turn when FAST HAND and UPBEAT came together losing ground to finish in sixth place.
Race 20	SPEIGHTS SIX PACK - C3/4 - 520	WINSOME JUN IOR was pushed back in the run to the turn when the field tightened but made ground steadily and came home strongly to win. On the first turn WINSOME CYCLONE and LIKE A STORM came together and lost momentum before both dogs made ground to finish second and fourth respectively.
