FLY BEAU ran outwards at the winning post with a lap to go forcing KAI MOANA over extra ground. These dogs settled at the rear with FLY BEAU running on for fourth. LADY ELSIE (TA Green) neck and trapezius soreness. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 27 January 2008. CUPLA SCHILLINGS (GR Farrell) split webbing. | Race 2 | SPRING FRESH SPRINT - C2/3 - 318 | There was tightening into the bend with ELLA JADE running outwards and PLENTY OF DASH running inwards. This caused MUMBLE JUMBLE to fall and all other runners with the exception of RAINBOW CREEK and MISS COOL DASH to lose ground. A post race veterinary check of MUMBLE JUMBLE revealed a bruised gracilis extension with a five day stand down recommended. MUMBLE JUMBLE (W Steele) bruised gracilis insertion and minor grazes after fall. Rule 82.1. 5 days up to and including 24 January 2008. |
| Race 3 | CAROL'S TABS SPRINT FINAL - C0f - 318 | ONSET was tightened soon after the jump settling at the rear. BREATHLYSE ME and CAWBOURNE WELLSY came together in the run to the bend losing ground and settling midfield. CAWBOURNE VITO (Freeman/Turnwald) late scratching at 9.00am with vomiting and gastritis. It appeared that BIGTIME LEGEND and EQUITY ECHO squeezed AGENT WHALE who was in between these two dogs. AGENT WHALE went back through the field checking CAWBOURNE CATHY and DREAM A WIN who lost ground and finished towards the rear. Without the head on view it was hard to ascertain the reason for this tightening. |

| Race 7 | GREYHOUND FUNCTION CENTRE SPRINT - C2 - 318 | The favourite CREATIVE TEQUILA ran inwards into the bend tightening QUIET SENSATION, NANCY'S WISH and THRILLING TOM on her inner. CREATIVE TEQUILA nearly fell in this incident and raced awkwardly after this coming into contact with the running rail and tailing off. A post race veterinary check of CREATIVE TEQUILA revealed no injury. |
