Judicial report: Weather: Fine J.Udy the Trainer of PORT OF SPARTA was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.3 kilograms underweight.
P.Knights the Trainer of HOMEBUSH JOY was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 2 kilograms underweight.
N.Clark was fined $ 50-00 under Rules 88.1 b & 71.10 when he admitted a charge of having an unmuzzled Greyhound in the Public area.

Race 2 GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C0 - 305 MY ESSENCE and NELLIE'S WAY were handy to the first turn but bumped together and dropped back causing checks to PORT OF SPARTA and BIGTIME ACTION who lost all chance and finished well back. BIGTIME GROOVY Ex Wanganui on 11.01.08.
Race 3 INTERISLANDER - HEAT 2 - C2 - 305 SMART BART ran wide on the bend and forced THOMAS THE TANK wide over extra ground. JUST ROCKIN Freeman & Turnwald Rule 64 Suffering from a spike wound and stood down for 7 days to and including 21.01.08.
Race 4 MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C4 - 305 FYVIE BELLE moved out slightly on the first corner and caused checks to SYDENHAM GREEN and HOMEBUSH BASMATI. SYDENHAM GREEN and BIGTIME ELLA bumped together and lost some momentum on the home turn.
Race 5 KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C5 - 520 THRILLING LUCY moved out to avoid heels on the first bend and collided with FINAL EPISODE and they lost several lengths. THRILLING LUCY appeared to collide with the rail on the final bend, lost several lengths and finished well behind the 2nd last dog. THRILLING LUCY was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. Race 6 GEON WELLINGTON - C4 - 305 THRILLING GYPSY moved out on the home turn and caused slight checks to HOMEBUSH BELLA and MICKY FINN and they all finished well back. SILVER CITY B.Rangiuia Rule 64 Suffering from a neck injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 11.02.08.
Race 7 WANGANUI SECURITY SERVICES - C5 - 305 The winner KYLIE'S DILEMA moved in on the first corner and checked HILLYS TIP who fell and caused BLACK SPOT PRANG to be checked and who also fell. AQUAMAN and SKADDADLE were severely hindered in the incident and lost all chance. BLACK SPOT PRANG and HILLYS TIP were examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. POLSKA T.Mischefski Rule 64 Suffering from a shoulder muscle injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 21.01.08.
Race 8 WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C3 - 305 ELITE PARADISE was checked on the first corner, went back to last and stayed there to the finish. SOPRANO SOLDIER S.Clark Rule 64 Suffering from a toe injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 24.01.08.
