Judicial report: Weather: Fine sTrainer DM Mathews was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when FORWARD SOLUTION weighed in at 31.6 kgs which was 1.2kgs over its last race weight.
Trainers A Hart and K Taylor were fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when MODERN ECLIPSE weighed in at 33.3 kgs which was 1.3kgs over its last race weight.
Trainer HG Cairns was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when CLAN NOVA weighed in at 28.9 kgs which was 1.1kgs under her last race weight.
An inquiry was opened and adjourned into the weight variation of MOST ROYAL in Race 9. The dog weighed in 1.9kgs under his last race weight.
A complaint was made by Trainer Johnathon McInerney against the actions of Trainer JM Jopson following the running of Race 11 when retrieving an injured REDFERN FLASH from the track to the veterinarian's room. Following inquiries with an independent witness no further action was warranted however both parties were reminded of their obligations as licensed trainers.
Trainer MM Grant received a final warning under Rule 71.4 in regards to failing to arrange to catch a dog in Race 15.

DAISY'S MAGIC received a slight check into the first bend from SMALL HAND. MAJIMBA appeared to hit the rail free of interference on the first bend. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. | Race 4 | GARRARD'S HORSE & HOUND STAKES - C0 - 520 | MAJOR BLUE was slow to jump and then checked off BREENY'S BOY into the first bend settling last. BREENY'S BOY checked off the heels of CLAN DESPERADO on the first bend losing a couple of lengths. In the back straight the leader MY BAXTER ran wide checking TIZZY LEE BUCKET for a few strides. These dogs continued to race together to the line finishing second and third. Favourite WHAT A STORY was handy until the first turn where she ran wide and lost ground finishing well back. |

MIDNIGHT FLUTTER was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed a shoulder injury with a ten day stand down recommended. PROVOCATIVE was squeezed in between CHILE LOPEZ and CHILLI MITCH on the bend dropping out to finish sixth. THAT VIRUS and ETOILE NOIR came together on the home turn when racing in midfield. |
| Race 11 | TUESDAY PLACE PICK STAKES - C5 - 520 | REDFERN FLASH was tightened in the inside of SCOTEXCITED into the first bend and appeared to hit the rail. Post race veterinary checks revealed a minor laceration to SCOTEXCITED with no stand down and a laceration to REDFERN FLASH'S left stifle muscle with a twenty day stand down recommended. WINSOME DOSH checked itself when trying to run outwards and lost ground. He made up ground for second. REDFERN FLASH (JT McInerney) laceration left stifle into muscle. On the home turn CALL ME ran outwards on to AMBER BEADLE and then back inside on to HOMEBUSH HOUDINI. These three dogs fought out the finish. TOYA (LH Anderton) in season. | Race 15 | PICK SIX LEG ONE - C4 - 520 | BOATSWAIN WALLY was checked on the first bend dropping to the rear. At the end of the back straight FRENCH INVADER improved inside TOMMY LEE WHISKY, these two coming together around the bend. On the home turn FRENCH INVADER and TOMMY LEE WHISKY came together again with TOMMY LEE WHISKY moving wider on the track.
