Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer MM Grant was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when GOLDEN MOVER weighed in 1.1 kgs over its last race weight on 27 December 2007.

Race 1	ADVANCE PERFORMANCE DASH - C3 - 295	BOTANY ROY was slow to jump from the inside. When attempting to improve he ran outwards checking CALLING COLLECT with RIVIERA CHIC being pushed very wide and losing her chance.
Race 2	CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL-UP STAKES - C1 - 520	FAST GROOVY checked off the heels of ELARA into the first bend and ran outwards pushing KNOW WHEN, MOUNT RILEY and WINSOME DIGNITY wide with these dogs losing their chances. WE LOVE PRINCESS was also tightened in this incident before running on well for fifth.
Race 3	NUTRI-ZING SPRINT HEAT 1 - C1 - 295	MISS WICKLOW was the slowest to jump settling well back. BLACK INN BRAVE ran inwards sharply into the bend checking EL AQUILON who dropped to the rear. BLACK INN BRAVE then clipped the rear end of SAIGON LORD with that runner also losing some ground but remaining in its second place. Shortly after EL AQUILON checked outwards off CLAN CRUSADER when at the rear. At the lure EL AQUILON struck the running rail. He was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed a severed artery. As the bleeding could not be stemmed it was decided to euthanase the dog on humane grounds. CATCH A DIVA (LJ Waretini) in season. Rule 64.10. 28 days up to and including 4 February 2008. EL AQUILON (MJ Flipp) severed artery. Dog euthanased.
Race 4	NUTRI-ZING SPRINT HEAT 2 - C1 - 295	The favourite GENISTA ASSASSIN was a shade show but then charged through the field to score an impressive win. On the way through he checked CHILE WILL HE who came back on to TURN THE CARD with both of these dogs losing ground. OPEN FOR OFFERS (JM Jopson) left fore lateral toe sprain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 20 January 2008.
Race 5	NUTRI-ZING SPRINT HEAT 3 - C1 - 295	KNOW WHAT attempted to run inwards in the run to the bend coming into contact with and badly checking BE POSITIVE. CLAN MARY LOU was also hampered in this incident. A post race veterinary check on BE POSITIVE revealed no injury. A post race veterinary check on NICKER TIME revealed a right hock strain with a fourteen day stand down recommended. KAIWERA SARAH (M&J Hill) fourth toe left fore ligament tear. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 21 days up to and including 26 January 2008. NICKER TIME (GJ Hodson) right hock strain. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 21 January 2008.
Race 6	NUTRI-ZING SPRINT HEAT 4 - C1 - 295	KNOW CENTS ran out slightly on the home turn hampering ROBTITLE for a few strides. TURBO PRINCE (BC Dann) was a late scratching at kennelling with diarrhoea. Rule 68.26. 6 days up to and including 13 January 2008.
Race 7	NUTRI-ZING SPRINT HEAT 5 - C1 - 295	MISS BAXTER ran outwards soon after the jump coming into contact with KIWI YOUNG . Soon after MISS BAXTER was sandwiched between MC MANNUS and KIWI YOUNG when attempting to improve. HOMEBUSH VEEJAY was pushed wide in this incident.
Race 8	MURRAY @ RE/MAX PH 033715005 STAKES - C2 - 520	COCKNY CODE drifted early to tail the field. He made up ground late for third. GROOVY BAND (J&D Fahey) stood down at Waikato and Districts GRC on 4 January 2008. Rule 82.1. 30 days up to and including 2 February 2008. STATE ELECTION (Hart/Taylor) low grade soreness lumbar muscles. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 13 January 2008.
Race 9	CAROL'S TAB DASH - C3 - 295	GROOVY SHOW was tightened in between THAT VIRUS and TWO TICK JESSIE soon after the jump. Into the turn GROOVY SHOW was again checked and appeared to brush the rail. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. OUT COLD was checked into the bend and dropped out to finish last.
Race 10	ADDINGTON FUNCTION CENTRE SPRINT - C2 - 295	GOLDEN MOVER was tightened into the bend dropping to the rear.
Race 11	TUESDAY PLACE PICK STAKES - C4 - 520	All clear.
Race 12	SUPER PETS MAIDEN HEAT 1 - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH ADDER proved very hard to box. It was agreed that this dog be placed on box first list under Rule 72.10. HOMEBUSH VALERIE turned in the boxes and came out some distance behind the field. This dog must complete a box trial under Rule 72.13. JACKALICIOUS checked outwards off ONE SICK CHICK into the bend into the path of HOMEBUSH ADDER and fell. ANYTIME SOON was stopped in its tracks and finished a long way from them. A post race veterinary check on JACKALICIOUS found no injury. HOMEBUSH VALERIE (RP Breen) ordered to undertake a box trial under Rule 72.13.
Race 13	SUPER PETS MAIDEN HEAT 2 - C0 - 295	NEMO BRAND was slow to jump from the inside. SMALL HAND crossed towards the rail checking COREYS COMET who dropped out to finish last.
Race 14	WWW.WILLYWHATATSTUD.COM STAKES - C1 - 520	CYBER QUEEN was checked into the first bend with CLAN SAVIOUR also losing ground. MAKE OR BREAK was slow to jump and got further back as the race progressed eventually pulling up on the home bend. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. The dog was stood down under Rule 80.1.b. for failing to pursue the lure for twenty-eight days and must complete a satisfactory trial. WITH A RHYTHM (J&D Fahey) right wrist pain. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 16 January 2008. MAKE OR BREAK (GA Cleeve) stood down for failing to pursue the lure under Rule 80.1.b. for 28 days up to and including 4 February 2008 and must complete a satisfactory trial.
Race 15	SUPER PETS MAIDEN HEAT 3 - C0 - 295	FACE OFF was handy until the first bend when he ran outwards coming into contact with TOYA and dropping to the rear. LAGOON MONROE was pushed wide in this incident. On the home turn when challenging for the lead HOMEBUSH BURT ran outwards and marred the running of DAISY'S MAGIC for some distance. Following the event HOMEBUSH BURT was stood down for twenty-eight days under Rule 80.1.a. This dog must also complete a satisfactory trial before racing. HOMEBUSH BURT (JT McInerney) stood down for marring under Rule 80.1.a. for 28 days up to and including 4 February 2008 and must complete a satisfactory trial.
Race 16	SUPER PETS MAIDEN HEAT 4 - C0 - 295	MAD CAP MAGGS was slow to jump settling back. POLAR BLAST was tightened and fell into the bend. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury.
Race 17	SUPER PETS MAIDEN HEAT 5 - C0 - 295	CLAN DESPERADO was the last to jump and remained well back.
Race 18	THE INTERISLANDER SPRINT - C2 - 295	DANCE FOR DANNY was tightened by an improving HAMBURGER into the bend and was clipped by MICRO SISSY. DANCE FOR DANNY fell at this point with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. HAMBURGER was pushed wide as a result and MICRO SISSY lost her chance.
Race 19	DENTRESE KENNELS PH 033125746 DASH - C4 - 295	VULCAN EARL checked off the heels of WHATA BUY on the home turn when both dogs were well back. They filled the last two places.
Race 20	SPEIGHTS SIX PACK - C3 - 520	SCOTT NO TRACK checked outwards off CYBER BLUE in the back straight which also pushed SPARKLING WAVES wider causing it to lose ground. NO ILLUSIONS was forced to change ground to avoid this incident. BIG TEASE (GA Cleeve) grazing inner right groin. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 12 January 2008.
