Judicial report: Weather: Fine JT McInerney was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11. when ROSE OF TARLEE, a starter in Race 4 weighed in 1.1kgs above her last race start weight.
LJ Waretini was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11. when SILVER CRISIS, a starter in Race 4 weighed in 1.2kgs above his last race start weight.

Race 1	ADVANCE PERFORMANCE STAKES - C1 - 520	WHO'S SHIFTY and WINSOME DIGNITY came together soon after the jump. Soon after CHILE COMMAND moved towards the rail forcing JACKPOT JACK onto ELARA who was badly checked. She finished at the rear with WHO'S SHIFTY.
Race 2	CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL-UP SPRINT - C0 - 295	BIG DAPTO and MY BAXTER were slow to jump. Into the bend GOLD QUIZ was tightened by SCARLETT EMPRESS when vying for the lead coming back on TOYA and BIG DAPTO who were checked. These three finished at the rear. COALGATE CATCH (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kennelling with kennel cough. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 7 days up to and including 6 January 2008.
Race 3	BARRON'S SUPPLIES SPRINT - C1 - 295	BLACK INN BRAVE weighed in 1.4kgs over his race start weight, however since last racing he had returned to his owner A Joyce, who had resumed training the dog. Into the bend BERT BADGER struck BE POSITIVE'S hindquarters both sustaining a check and coming back on KNOW WHAT. They filled the last three placings. HIGHWAY BAXTER (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kennelling when found with warts on his left hind foot. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 5 days up to and including 4 January 2008.
Race 4	SBS BANKING DASH - C2 - 295	Into the bend CAPTAIN MARIAH ran off the heels of ROSE OF TARLEE. In doing so GATLIN ANGEL climbed on the hindquarters of CAPTAIN MARIAH who went down on his haunches losing momentum.
Race 5	WILSONS SPORTS BAR MAIDEN - C0 - 520	Soon after the jump DANCING JAZZY ran wide and impeded the progress of ROBBITY BOB and JIMMY BLACKSMITH. Into the first bend LAGOON MONROE ran out and carried ALECIA RELTUB wide. Into the straight DON THE HOP and ROBBITY BOB came together when racing at the rear of the field The winner LAGOON FARNHAM was subject to a post race vet check for an incident at the lure.
Race 6	DAVE ROBBIE PHOTOGRAPHER DASH - C1 - 295	Soon after the start I'M ON EDGE ran wide and momentarily impeded GO STRAIT THREW. Into the bend CATCH A DIVA got on the heels of WHITE SPARTAN and lost ground to finish last.
Race 7	KOLORFUL KANVAS STAKES - C1 - 520	Soon after the jump CYBER QUEEN and KNOW WHEN came together. Into the first bend CYBER QUEEN checked off the heels of GROOVIN'BAIN and came back on WINSOME GRACE who was checked. As a result of this incident DREAMY HAZE, KNOW WHEN and APACHE MOHAWK were hampered and forced wider on the track
Race 8	DUAL CODE 3 JANUARY STAKES - C2 - 520	The favourite WINSOME JUNIOR was very slow to leave the boxes and then ran wide on the first bend before sustaining a big finish to be second. Soon after the start TOMAHAWK DOWN and SABA JEWEL came together with TOMAHAWK DOWN checking to change ground and was forced wide. He was forced even wider by WINSOME JUNIOR improving through on the inside.
Race 9	THE INTERISLANDER DISTANCE FEATURE - C1/2d - 732	Trainer JM Jopson advised that she had this day taken over the training of DANCE JUDGE. ROMAN CASTLE drifted at the start. Soon after the start HEZA LIL improved across and impeded the progress of the favourite WINSOME DOSH who was forced wide on the track. At the winning post with a lap to run HEZA LIL checked off the heels of DANCE JUDGE coming back on BILLY BAXTERwho was badly checked and was also impacted by ROMAN CASTLE. Into The back straight ROMAN CASTLE and HEZA LIL came together while at the rear of the field. JIN JU (JR Goode) in season. Rule 64.10. 28 days up to and including 26 January 2008. LAGOON PHOENIX (JT McInerney) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 1 January 2008. REDFERN FLASH (JT McInerney) diarrhoea. Dog presented. Race 10	HAPPY NEW YEAR DASH - C1 - 295	From the jump MURPHYS MISTAKE ran very wide on the track and settled at the rear of the field. Soon after the jump MISS BAXTER and BONDO BRINDI came together, BONDI BRINDI dropped out to finish last. Into the bend the eventual winner BRANDYLICIOUS ran out from the rail and forced MISS BAXTER wide on the track who battled on to finish fourth.
