Race 1	MR KOOL VAN IS HERE TODAY - C0 - 375	The favourite THRILLING TURN was handy for most of the race but faded over the concluding stages and finished in 6th place.
Race 2	GEON WELLINGTON - C0 - 375	TAZZYS CHARM was checked on the first corner and dropped back quickly causing a severe check to TRAVEL HAPPY who fell. TRAVEL HAPPY was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. TAZZYS CHARM was also examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with bruising. BIGTIME ACTION Ex Wanganui on 14.12.07. TAZZYS CHARM G.Atwood Rule 82 Suffered bruising over the rump and stood down for 7 days to and including 25.12.07.
Race 3	GAP, ADOPT A GREYHOUND SPRINT - C1 - 375	One of the favourites CAWBOURNE SHOW was handy to the first corner but the dropped back racing around the bend and he finished back near the rear. It was observed that the dogs muzzle was hanging loose when they jumped from the boxes and this possibly inconvenienced CAWBOURNE SHOW during the race. CAWBOURNE SHOW was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. EYES A TITLE G.Farrell Rule 64 Suffering from a whip muscle injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 27.12.07. FLIRTATIOUS WINK Ex Manawatu on 17.12.07. SAMS RENEGADE M.Lozell Rule 64 Suffering from a hock injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 07.01.08.
Race 4	MCENTEE EVENT HIRE - C1 - 375	All clear. ROCKET RISING S.Drysdale Rule 64 Suffering from a gracilus injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 14.01.08.
Race 5	HIGGINS CONTRACTORS SPRINT - C2 - 375	All clear. MISS MANEATER B.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from a quadricep injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 27.12.07. BENNY BAXTER Freeman & Turnwald Rule 82 Suffered a main pad injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 28.12.07. LUNAR SANDS McCracken & Goldsack Rule 82 Suffered a spike wound and stood down for 7 days to and including 25.12.07.
Race 6	KERB & CONCRETE DASH - C2/3 - 375	The favourite DAMAGE MODE was tightened and checked back to last soon after the start but then made ground well to finish a close 4th. LILY LONGLEGS ran very wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in last place. HEZA BOOF Ex Wanganui on 14.12.07 SOPRANO SOLDIER Ex Auckland on 16.12.07 NO WARNING C.Morris Rule 64 Suffering from a hind leg muscle injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 06.01.08.
Race 7	THANKS TO MANAWATU HARNESS - C3/4 - 375	BIGTIME KRACKER was slow to begin and raced well back throughout and finished in last place. TRENDY SON ran out on the first corner and caused checks to ANOTHER PRIDE and AFTERNOON DELITE who lost several lengths and all chance. AFTERNOON DELITE was examined by the Vet and found to have a slight abrasion to a hock but no stand down was required.
Race 8	INTERISLANDER - C4/5 - 375	CHARLIE CASH moved in soon after the start and tightened THRILLING HUGO, THRILLING CLASS and THRILLING RANGER. THRILLING CLASS then ran into the back of THRILLING RANGER who fell but was not injured. CRYSTAL WENDY W.T.Hodgson Rule 64 Suffering from a wrist injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 28.12.07.
Race 9	OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - R/A - 457	All clear. ELLES HOT Ex Wanganui on 14.12.07
Race 10	MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL - C1/2 - 457	OUR PRICE who was one of the favourites was slow away and then raced wide over extra ground on the bend but finished well for 5th place. HUTT PARK FLYER O.Marron Rule 64 Suffering from a toe injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 24.12.07.
