| Race 1 | MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS WANGANUI - C0 - 375 | At the start OUR CHEETAH crossed the field to get to the rail and forced KIWISAVER on to THUNDER TOK, JAYDEEMOORE and JULIE'S LADY causing these dogs to be severly checked back at that stage. A bit further on KIWISAVER kept onwards towards the rail and severly checked JAYDEEMOORE and JULIE'S LADY causing them to lose all chance there after ,they finished at the rear. | Race 2 | PORTER HIRE PALMERSTON NORTH - C1 - 375 | CALM ILLUSION was slow away. THRILLING PARIS ran across at the start and caused FLIRTATIOUS WINK over on to MAURITIUS for several strides. Racing down to the first turn CLASSY BREEZE came out off the rail sharply several dog widths and collided with FLIRTATIOUS WINK who did not race comfortably the rest of the race. FLIRTATIOUS WINK was subject to veterinary examination and was found to have an injury requiring a 7 days stand down.----------. | Race 3 | OROUA DOWNS TANNERY SPRINT - C2 - 375 | Soon after the start REBEL ALLIANCE received a slight check and did'nt recover from there on in . MISS MANEATER raced up on the pace until the home turn when she seemed to be tiring had to check off the heels of BIGTIME DORA ,then came out under the neck of SWAPPA CRATE (fav) to get clear racing room. once in the clear ran on into 4th placing MISS MANEATER was sent for a veterinary examination where no abnormalities were found, no stand down required. . |
| Race 4 | RADIOWORKS MANAWATU - C0 - 457 | TRAVEL HAPPY, HARVEST and NOSH IN SOCKS were all slow away, TRAVEL HAPPY recovered from this to run a good 3rd placing. . . |
| Race 5 | KEVIN O'CONNOR & ASSOCIATES - C2/3 - 375 | THRILLING SKY (fav) and THRILLING RIDDLE were slow away as a result BIGTIME JULIE raced across towards the rail and hampered THRILLING RIDDLE and THRILLING SKY who was checked and shuffeled back to the rear where she could not make up the ground and beat two home. In the run down the home straight THRILLING RIDDLE ran out of racing room and clipped the heels of ARANUI FLASH losing momentem and finished an unlucky 4th. . |

| Race 7 | DAILY GREYS TIPLINE 0900-42477 - C5 - 375 | JAMES BEE was slow away Racing into the first turn THRILLING KELLY got a slight bump from DOUBLE HAPPY went back a couple of lengths then AGENT VICKI came around her and she had to check back off her heels causing her to lose more ground and he finished at the rear of the field. PAPAMOA LASS was a late scratching due to a seasonal problem, has been stood down for 28 days under rule 64.10. . | Race 8 | INTERISLANDER - C1 - 457 | As they left the boxes ANOTHER CLOUD jumped across in front of THRILLING MILLY and KENT JEWEL hampering them for a few strides. STORM LARGE was a late scratching at kennelling on veterinary advice with a dew claw infection requiring a 7 day stand down. | Race 10 | WIZARD HOME LOANS - C4/5 - 457 | As the field left the boxes JIMMY HALL tried to run in as KEROMA ASSASSIN on its inside kept his ground causing the six outside dogs to race very tight for the first 50 metres. Racing into the first turn MR CLONTARF was following STAMPEDE into the turn and as they were crossing over THRILLING MOE came out and MR CLONTARF came in these two dogs collided resulting in MR CLONTARF falling , he then regained his feet to finish some distance behind the field,MARTY HALL who was behind this incident had to take evasive action and ran very wide around the top bend. THRILLING MOE recovered well to finish in 4th placing. MR CLONTARF was sent for a veterinary examination and no abnormalities were found. . |
