Judicial report: Weather: fine An investigation was opened by the Stewards under the provisions of Rule 38.1 (b) and Rule 38.3 (a) into the scratching of Cawbourne Bobby and this runner being reinstated into the field for race No Two at this meeting.This investigation was opened and adjourned.

Race 1	THE PHOENIX SPRINT - C0 - 318	Bat Hound, Bigtime Legend and Storm Watcher were the slowest to begin. As the field raced into the first bend Kirsten Deal was observed to be tightend for room.
Race 2	OXYSHOT ELMORE OIL DASH - C4 - 318	Got Hope, Nutty Squirrel and Cawbourne Bobby were the slowest to begin. After the start Darn Right was observed to run out and Nutty Squirrel ran inwards these runners were both checked when they made contact. Miss Vee Eight the winner of this race was sent for a Vet Check post race as was Got Hope with no abnormality being detected to either of these runners. Miss Vee Eight was knocked down at the Lure and went under the Lure and had her neck under the hub rail as did Got Hope.
Race 3	TERRY RYAN TIMBER SPRINT FINAL - C1f - 318	Billy Thunder was the slowest to begin. After the start Rosetta came out and contacted Fervid checking this runner for a stride. Sams Renegade began well and ran inwards contacting Electrostatic forcing this runner onto Fervid who was checked in this incident. As the field raced into the turn out of the back straight Fervid was checked once more by Call Me Gizzmo Around the home turn Thrilling Tom came inwards and checked itself and Rosetta when they made contact. Thrilling Juliet ( D.W.Mathews) scratched ex Waikato 13-12-07
Race 4	PACIFIC SHEET & COIL STAKES - C4/5 - 527	As the field raced around the first turn Focus Point cut to the rail and in doing so checked Investigate this runner having to check off the heels of Focus Point. There was no head on coverage of this race from the TAB. Drilling Dam (B.D.F.Craik) Left Carpus -Capitis and Pain. Dog Presented Vet certificate supplied. 64 12 7 days to and including 21-12-07 Warnie ( S.P.Clark) Left sartorius muscle-grade 1 injury Dog Presented Vet Certificate supplied. Rule 64 12 5 days to and including 20-12-07
Race 5	NZ COMMUNITY TRUST SPRINT - C1 - 318	Wulfgar was the slowest to begin. After the start Tiodi ran inwards and contacted Sergeant Scream forcing this runner onto Eyes A Title with these three runners being checked in this incident. Sergeant Scream and Eyes A Title came together on at least three occasions in the run to the turn out of the back straight. Around the turn out of the back straight Wulfgar had to check off the heels of Bigtime Tracker who ran out at this point. In the run to the finish Top Deal ran out and contacted Tiodi checking this runner for a stride.
Race 6	JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS STAKES - C2/3 - 527	After the start Mochaccino and Fiesty came together for a stride both of these runners were checked for a stride, That Girl and Roman Leader also came together for a stride. As the field raced into the first turn Cupla Schillings was checked for a stride when Kaimai Gild crossed to the rail. Into the back straight Common Error cut to the rail and in doing so checked That Girl.
Race 7	THORNTON AUCTIONS SPRINT - C3 - 318	Catchword was the slowest to begin. After the start Hot Doc contacted the hindquaters of Cawbourne Molly checking this runners for a stride.Hot Doc, Tennyson Miss and Catchword were racing in tight quarters in the run to the turn out of the back straight with these three runners suffering interferance in this incident. Soprano Soldier (S. P. Clark) Left Gracillus Muscle bruising. Dog presented Rule 64 12 5 days to and including 20-123-07. Brother Badger (H.S.Laagland) Ex Waikato 13-12-07
Race 8	CAROL'S TAB STAKES FEATURE - C4 - 527	Reba Keroma was the slowest to begin. After the start Cawbourne Baron ran inwards and contacted Killer Touch for a stride both of these runners were checked in this incident.
Race 9	COMMERCIAL PLUMBING SPRINT - C5 - 318	Thrilling Ollie, Waitak Thunder and Mercy were the slowest to begin. After the start Kylie's Dilema ran in sharply and tightend all runners on its inner namely Johnny, Waitak Thunder, End Zone , Thrilling Ollie and Longford Annie. Longford Annie was once again checked as the field raced around the turn out of the back straight when Mercy cut to the rail.
Race 10	THE ALAMO BAR & GRILL 6 PACK SPRINT - C2 - 318	Rymor reason, Bigtime Dancer, Miss Cool Dash and Mohican Harry were the slowest to begin. Miss Cool Dash ran in after the start and checked itself Rymor Reason, Bigtime Dancer and Mohican Harry. Royal Escort ran out after the start and also contributed to this interferance. Miss Cool Dash was checked on at least three occasions in the run to the turn out of the back straight.
