Judicial report: Weather: fine Trainer S D Gommans was fined $50.00 under rule 69.11 for presenting OPAWA LIZ 1.3 kgs overweight.
Trainer O K Marron was fined $150.00 under rule 88.1 -O for the late scratching of THRILLING SNOW in race two , the dog had been stood down at Wanganui the previous week.
T Pilcher ( lure driver--) and G Tapiki (starter) where spoken to after race one in respect of starting the lure in motion and making sure the green light is on.
The lure in race one was a bit long due to these factors and after viewing the replay the stewards could not find where any of the dogs were disadvantaged during the running and payed out on the race accordingly
An enquiry was opened and adjourned into the club scratching of ARANUI SPEEDY from race three due to a regrading error.

Race 1	TIM JOLLY COMMERCIALS, TAUPO - C0 - 375	The start was fractionally delayed for a couple of extra seconds as there was slight confusion between the lure driver and the starter regarding the green light, as a result of this the lure was further in front then is normal, all the field were observed to be chasing the bunny and no dogs were disadvantged in the running. THRILLING TURN was very slow away losing five or so lengths but ran on well through the field for 2nd placing. Racing down to the first turn BIGTIME ACTION and ARANUI SPARK collided resulting in KIWISAVER who was behind them running out of room and severly checking the runners inside him mainly THRILLING TWIST ,SHY ANNE ROSE and EVA TITU. THRILLING TWIST and SHY ANNE ROSE were not able to recover and get back into contention EVA TITU ran on late for 4th placing DONEEN B O'Connell dog is deceased. Race 2	TOTAL IRRIGATION CENTRAL LTD - C1 - 375	At the start CRYSTAL SAL and BIGTIME ENCORE came together for a couple of strides. Racing down to the first turn CRYSTAL SAL came over and tightned HEALING CRYSTAL and MAURITIUS who were shuffled back to the rear as was BIGTIME ENCORE who was observed to be uncomfortable in the running there after and was sent for a veterinary examination and was found to have an injury requiring a 10 day stand down period. THRILLING SNOW was a late scratching after being stood down at Wanganui on the 7.12.07.Trainer admitted a charge of negligance in this matter . THRILLING SNOW O P Marron ex wanganui 10.12.07. Race 3	DESTINATION MANAWATU DASH - C2 - 375	Soon after the start ROCKET WOLF and LITTLE PRESSY came together for a few strides. The winner SOPRANO SOLDIER was seen to hit the lure on pulling up and seemed to be slightly lame in front ,was sent for a veterinary examination where no abnormalities were found, no stand down required ARANUI SPEED was a club scratching due to a regrading error and the matter is being investigated. . Race 4	MCENTEE EVENT HIRE SPRINT - C3 - 375	At the start MISS MANEATER (fav) jumped awkwardly and crowded LITTLE GYMNIST , then LAGOON LADY came across and squeezed MISS MANEATER out of her position back to the rear, she could not get clear racing room going into the first turn causing her to lose more ground which she could'nt make up to finish at the rear of the field-- TEE BONE was ran over pulling up to the lure and a veterinary examination revealed a injury requiring a 10 day stand down.--------. Race 5	SALMOND ENTERPRISES LTD - C4/5 - 375	Racing into the first turn THRILLING MICKEY was looking to cross to the rail and in doing so badly checked ARANUI DIAMOND who went out wide and took STACEY'S WAY very wide around the top bend . ARANUI DIAMOND was not able to get back into contention from ther on in to finish at the rear.----------.
Race 6	OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - C5 - 375	THRILLING JASPER (fav) was awkwardy away from the boxes ,made up good ground througout the race to run into 3rd placing. As the field raced into the first turn PAPAMOA LASS came across and tightened several runners on her inside causing BLUE SOLDIER and EXPRESS SOLDIER to be hampered for 30 metres or so.
Race 7	PAUL CLARIDGE ELECTRICAL - C1 - 457	After 50 metres WHISPERING HOME (no 2) raced out wide across the front of the field causing the outside runners to race very wide into the first turn where LOTTO BALLS(fav) after being slow away was able to circle the field and run on to win decisivly As the field were racing into the home turn there was tightning on the inside between STORM LARGE and WHISPERING HOME as these dogs were looking for racing room. ----------.
Race 8	INTERISLANDER - C2/3 - 457	At the start there was some jostling between the the inside runners caused by THRILLING ZOE racing across quickly from the start. OUR PRICE was very slow away from the boxes and took a while to get going ,as the field turned for home he raced up on the rail to run into 4th placing at the finish.
Race 9	GEON CLASSIC RESTRICTED AGE - R/A - 375	Racing into the first turn DAPTO GLOSS received a check from BIGTIME ROYALE as he crossed over towards the rail,DAPTO GLOSS went back to the rear and he could not get back into contention from there on in and finished at the rear. BIGTIME DORA was a late scratching at kennelling on veterinary advice and was given a 5 day stand down. BIGTIME DORA L J Ahern hyperthermia dog presented Late scratching at kennelling rule 68.26. 5 days stand down to and including 16.12.07.
Race 10	WIZARD HOME LOANS - C3/4 - 457	Soon after the start there was jostling between BLASTING POINT, ROMAN LEADER and THRILLING AFFAIR resulting in BLASTING POINT being squeezed back to the rear were he raced wide there after running into 5th placing at the finish. ANCIENT RHYTHM received a slight check on the top bend as THRILLING AFFAIR raced around the field looking to make ground at that point. .
