| Race 1 | McENTEE EVENT HIRE SPRINT - C0 - 375 | STORM WATCHER dwelt slightly at the start. GATE TWO G & S Hayden Holmes Dog presented with an infected injury to penis. Dog presented Rule 64.12. 10 days stand down to and including 11.12.07. JAYDEEMOORE I.Moore Injury to inside right thigh with bruising to right satorius. A late scratching and dog presented. Rule 68.26. 5 days stand down to and including 7.12.07. SNATCH A CRADLE J.Woolston-Bell Bite injury to right side of lip. Vet certificate supplied. A late scratching. Rule 68.26. 10 days stand down to and including 11.12.07. GOES SCIROCCO Gained a start in race 4. |
| Race 2 | MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS WANGANUI - C0 - 375 | Racing into the first turn DOUBLE DECLUTCH changed ground outwards and checked TAZZYS CHARM who had to go out wide and in doing so severely checked THRILLING TWIST and KIRSTEN DEAL causing them to race wide around the top bend. THRILLING TWIST made a great recovery to run into 2nd placing at the finish. Halfway around the top bend SKIPPY BOGANGLES was noticed to dip at that point and lost several lengths . |
| Race 3 | OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - C1 - 375 | Soon after the start CALL ME GIZMO and JILL came together as both dogs were changing ground, one in and one outwards. Racing into the first turn SWAPPA CRATE had to check back off heels and ran out wide taking THRILLING JULIET with him and as she ducked back down SIMON and KARISAMORE anticipated trouble and raced out very wide around SWAPPA CRATE losing all chance. KARISAMORE was observed to be uncomfortable and was sent for a Veterinary examination which failed to reveal any injury and no stand down was imposed. |
| Race 4 | TOTAL IRRIGATION CENTRAL LTD - C0 - 457 | Soon after the start LEELY MOANA was checked sideways as dogs crossed over at the back of the field. Racing towards the first turn GOES SCIROCCO was racing towards the rail and checked RED TERROR who was hampered and lost some ground at that point. CAPP MANNERING(fav) was awkwardly away and was checked going into the first turn but made excellent ground to finish in 2nd placing. THRILLING MARIA A.Udy Minor muscle injury to right shoulder. Vet cetificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days stand down to and including 9.12.07. |
| Race 5 | PHIL'S TERRACE END TAB SPRINT - C2 - 375 | Soon after the start ASTROS LUCK and EMILY BREEZE came together for a couple of strides. As the field raced down to the first turn SMART BART ,ASTROS LUCK and ROCKET WOLF were all racing in very tight quarters as ROCKET WOLF was looking to get over towards the rail.As a result of this ASTROS LUCK was checked back to the rear where he never recovered and finished at the rear. ROCKET WOLF ended up racing wide around the top bend as a result of this incident. |
| Race 6 | OROUA DOWNS TANNERY SPRINT - C3 - 375 | Soon after the start there was some buffeting between THRILLING BURN, LITTLE GYMNIST and AUTUMN ANGEL as they all were heading towards the rail. |
| Race 7 | KERB & CONCRETE SRINT - C4 - 375 | At the start ARANUI DIAMOND had to switch ground rather quickly as THRILLING KELLY crossed over in front of her. As the field had raced into the first turn there was tightning to FINAL EPISODE(fav) and THRILLING MICKEY as RAGIN TRAVELLER was trying to get to the rail. Both these dogs received checks causing them to lose ground and THRILLING MICKEY finished at the rear but FINAL EPISODE ran on well for 3rd placing. | Race 8 | HAMIL BUILDERS SPRINT - C5 - 375 | As the field raced down to the first turn there was tightening and buffeting between the whole field with the exception of PAPAMOA LASS who was widest out at that point. All the rest of the field were affected to some degree with CHARLIE CASH being the worst affected and was shunted out to the rear where he could not recover from there and finished at the rear. |
| Race 9 | AP1 METROLOGY PALMERSTON NORTH - C1 - 457 | Racing down to the first turn EVAMORE and DANCING TESSA came together with DANCING TESSA receiving a bump and having to check back. As a result of this, DAPTO TOKEN also received a bad check as EVAMORE came back on him. |
