Race 1	GEON WELLINGTON SPRINT - C0 - 375	CRYSTAL CYRUS ran wide over extra ground on the bend but finished well for 3rd place.
Race 2	MANAWATU SOUND SERVICE - C1 - 375	KARISAMORE and HEALING CRYSTAL jostled together for several strides on the bend and lost ground and they finished in the last two places. KARISAMORE appeared not to be galloping correctly and was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury at that time.
Race 3	OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - C0 - 457	EVA TITU was checked on the bend and dropped back to last and stayed there to the finish. NOSH IN SOCKS raced wide on the track throughout and finished well back.
Race 4	MANAWATU SECURITY SERVICE - C1/2 - 375	JUST A DRIP was very slow to begin and lost four lengths.
Race 5	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C1/2 - 375	One of the favourites BLUE DENIM was handy early in the race but was checked on the first corner, lost several lengths and stayed back to finish in 6th place.
Race 6	CHARLIE BOYCE, VETERINARIAN - C3 - 375	The favourite JAW BORN was tightened and checked back to last as they jumped from the boxes and never recovered, finishing in 3rd last place. It was observed that JAW BORN had turned his head in the incident but the benefit of some doubt was given as he was being checked from the outside at the time.
Race 7	FREEDOM PRINT & DESIGN HOUSE - C4 - 375	All clear.
Race 8	McENTEE EVENT HIRE SPRINT - C5 - 375	THRILLING RANGER was the slowest away and stayed back throughout and finished in last place.
Race 9	RADIOWORKS MANAWATU - C2/3 - 457	FIESTY galloped on the heels of EXCITING STATE on the first corner causing that runner to lose ground and FIESTY went past soon after and went on to win with EXCITING STATE finishing in 2nd place.
Race 10	WIZARD HOME LOANS - C4/5 - 457	BIGTIME ASSASSIN was checked on the first corner and went back to last and stayed there to the finish.
