Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer R Adcock was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11. when HOMER HAND, a starter in Race 8, weighed in 1.2kgs over his last race start weight.

Race 1 BRIAN BAGLEY DRIVER LICENSING SPRINT - C1 - 310 HIGHWAY BAXTER was slow to jump settling last. Into the bend CHILE TIME and PINBALL WIZARD came together resulting in CHILE TIME sustaining a check, coming back on the favourite HOMEBUSH DARCY with NOSE MY TITLE and HAMBURGER being forced wide. Soon after PINBALL WIZARD moved off the rail when in the trail resulting in RICK BAXTER clipping heels and falling. CHILE TIME finished well for third with the others at the rear. RICK BAXTER regained his feet to finish the event. A post race veterinary check revealed nothing amiss.
Race 2 PAWS INN BOARDING KENNEL SPRINT - C2 - 310 HALF A PENNY missed the jump by three lengths. Into the bend the favourite CAPTAIN MARIAH ran outwards as STOKER endeavoured to drive to the lead, both running wide and losing all chance. Soon after OPAWA MUSIC ran wide taking CALLING COLLECT with her. Turning for home STOKER and KRISSY BALE came together for a number of strides. STOKER and CAPTAIN MARIAH ran on for third and fourth with the others well back.
Race 3 SPEEDPRINT SHOP STAKES - C1 - 545 NORTH INGILLTAB, MOA HUNTER and WHATA HOON were slow to jump, with MOA HUNTER running wide around the first bend. Across the top JIN JU checked out off DREAMY HAZE and THRILLING EADIE before finishing strongly for third. Soon after DREAMY HAZE and THRILLING EADIE came together for a few strides losing ground to finish well back.
Race 4 BROCKLEBANK DRY CLEANERS SPRINT - C3 - 310 WHISKY LEE GIRL was slow from the outside box. Into the bend MOST ROYAL collided with LEA BAXTER and was forced outwards onto HOMEBUSH JENNA, sustaining a check and coming back on THAT VIRUS, both losing all chance. An improving WHISKY LEE GIRL was forced wide.
Race 5 WWW.GREYHOUNDSASPETS.ORG.NZ - C5 - 545 ROMAN CASTLE and YOUR TURN came together for a few strides down the back straight with YOUR TURN sustaining a check to finish second to last.
Race 6 GREEN ISLAND BARBER SPRINT - C5 - 310 VULCAN EARL was slow to leave the boxes and finished well back in the field. Into the bend ANOTHER LAUREL crossed over and came into contact with WINSOME DAISY, then went wide on the track and lost ground before running on in the straight for third.
Race 7 THOMPSON, LANG, ELLIS & GARDNER STAKES - C3/4 - 545 SCOTT NO TRACK settled last and ran wide around the first bend . PAUL BAXTER was tightened into the first bend settling last. Across the top an improving SCOTT NO TRACK struck the hindquarters of MICRO DOTTIE, both sustaining a check to finish midfield. BOATSWAIN WALLY (JR Goode) right fore nail split. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 28 November 2007. WINSOME CHANCE (J&D Fahey) withdrawn under Rule 63.10. No penalty.
Race 8 KEYOSK SERVICE BAR SPRINT - C4 - 310 HOMER HAND and THRILLING BECKY were checked into the first bend. Soon after HOMEBUSH BUZZ and NGAWI BAY came together filling the last two placings. TO CASUAL (GA Cleeve) .no appetitie, possible diarrhoea. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 29 November 2007. HONCHO (JT McInerney) stood down at Wanganui GRC 23 November 2007. Rule 82.1. 21 days up to and including 12 December 2007. THRILLING TYKE (P&B Conner) starter in Race 10.
Race 9 OTAGO DASH - C5 - 310 HEAPS CLASSY checked PAREORA ANGEL as he crossed to the rail into the bend. Soon after HOMEBUSH FITZY struck FOUL PLAY'S hindquarters both running wide and losing all chance to finish at the rear.
Race 10 FORBURY PARK SIX PACK - C4 - 310 REPEAT OFFENDER, UPBEAT and CHILE LOPEZ collided into the bend when racing at the rear. They lost all chance. MY GIRL REBBEKAH (SR Fagan) sprained left fore 5th toe. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 30 November 2007.
