Trainer BC Dann was fined $50.00 when ELSIE BRAND, a starter in Race 9, weighed in 1.3kgs under her last race start weight.

Around the first bend HOMEBUSH MATE climbed onto the hindquarters of the favourite GO GROOVY with both being badly checked. They lost all chance to fill the last two placings. A post race veterinary check revelaed nothing amiss. Into the back straight JIN JU clipped WHO'S SHIFTY both sustaining checks and coming back on MOUNT RILEY. These three finished at the rear. |
