Race 1	MCENTEE EVENT HIRE - C1 - 305	SPICE AGE began on terms with the others but then dropped back and finished several lengths last. SPICE AGE was examined by the Vet and was found to have suffered a gracilus muscle injury and was stood down for 42 days to and including 27.12.07. KENMARE moved out on the first turn and forced PISTOL LARRY and HEALING CRYSTAL wide over extra ground. BAILEYS DREAM moved out on the home turn and bumped SAMS RENEGADE who lost some momentum. VOODOO CHARM D.Parata Rule 64 Suffering from a tricep muscle injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 21.11.07. SPICE AGE A & S Frost Rule 82 Suffered a gracilus muscle injury and stood down for 42 days to and including 27.12.07.
Race 2	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C0f - 520	TARA LILLY was away well but bumped with EMILY BREEZE on the first corner and dropped out to finish in last place. CAPP MANNERING and LOTTO BALLS were pushed wide in this incident. TARA LILLY was examined by the Vet and found to have a superficial spike wound but no stand down was required.
Race 3	GUTHRIE BOWRON - C2 - 305	The favourite MISS MANEATER was away well and led to the first corner but was then galloped on by SMART BART and lost a little ground but then recovered to finish a close 2nd placing. SMART BART also lost ground in the incident and finished near the rear. ROCKET WOLF Ex Manawatu on 14.11.07.
Race 4	SPICERS PAPER - C1 - 305	LUNAR SANDS was away well and led to the first corner but was checked twice on the bend and dropped out to finish in last place.
Race 5	KEENAN CONCRETE - C1 - 520	THRILLING MAGIC drew box 8 and was forced to race wide around the first bend over extra ground and stayed well back and finished last. ANOTHER SWAP appeared to suffer an injury soon after passing the winning post and was examined by the Vet and euthanased due to a fractured hock. ANOTHER SWAP Freeman & Turnwald Rule 82 Suffered a fractured hock and euthanased.
Race 6	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C2/3 - 305	AFTERNOON DELITE was tightened between runners soon after the start and went back to last. AFTERNOON DELITE then raced onto the heels of HOMEBUSH SQUIRT on the bend, lost further ground and moved out bumping BRONX APPEAL and eventually finished in last place.
Race 7	GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C2/3 - 520	All clear. OPAWA LIZ S.Gommans Rule 82 Suffered and stood down for 7 days to and including 22.11.07
Race 8	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C4/5 - 520	RED BIRD checked off the heels of THRILLING TAZ entering the back straight and moved out checking LESHITA and JONNY MARCO and all three lost ground. The Judge took some time to announce the placings due to the very close margin between 1st and 2nd and the fact that both dogs were very similar in colour. After due consideration, there was no doubt that THRILLING PIPER had won by a nose.
Race 9	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' - C5 - 305	THRILLING DELTA was checked on the first corner and lost several lengths and finished in last place. THRILLING FLIRT A.Udy Rule 64 Suffering from tricep pain and stood down for 5 days to and including 19.11.07.
Race 10	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C4 - 305	WORLD BANK, CRYSTAL HISTORY and THRILLING SPICE bumped together for several strides in the race to the first corner and WORLD BANK and CRYSTAL HISTORY went back to the rear. WORLD BANK checked off heels on the bend and ran very wide over extra ground into the straight. THRILLING SNOOP went off stride on the first corner and dropped out to finish several lengths behind the other runners. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days due to a severe hock strain.
