| Race 1 | PUT YOUR NAME HERE....... - C0 - 375 | Soon after the start THRILLING TWIST came across and caused checks to KENT JEWEL, SIMON and THRILLING BREE who cannoned into DOUBLE DECLUCH causing these dogs to all lose ground going into the first turn. DOUBLE DECLUCH recovered well after this incident to run on for 3rd placing. THRILLING BREE (fav) ran out of clear racing room for some distance in the home straight eventually finishing in 4th place. |
| Race 2 | RADIOWORKS MANAWATU SPRINT - C0 - 375 | At the start JAYDEEMORE came across and checked ARANUI SPARK who then tightened JILL and she was squeezed back to the rear at that point Racing into the first turn JAYDEEMORE anticapated checking back off LESS THEN IDEAL and in doing so ran out and caused checks to INTENTION KNOWN and CALL ME ROCKY who was forced to race very wide around the top bend and could not recover from there to finish at the rear. | Race 3 | WENHAM GRAIN & SEED SPRINT - C2 - 375 | ROCKET WOLF was a late scratching on veterinary advice. Soon after the start MISS MANEATER checked back off the heels of ARANUI SPEEDY to get out wide for clear racing room and she raced wide around the top bend into the home straight and ran on well for 2nd. Racing into the first turn HOMEBUSH MAX was looking to cross to the rail and caused severe checks to STARLIGHT WOODS, SMART BART and LAGOON RISE. As a result of this incident STARLIGHT WOODS lost several lengths and could not recover to get into contention from there on in. | Race 4 | DECOART PRODUCTS LTD LEVIN - C1 - 457 | Racing towards the first turn WHISPERING HOME and KARISAMORE came together and kept buffeting each other for some distance where they lost ground that they could not recover to get back into contention from there on in. |
| Race 5 | CHARLIE BOYCE, FOXTON VET - C1 - 375 | THRILLING SNOW was slow away , but made recovered to run in to 2nd place. Coming down to the first turn HEALING CRYSTAL came across and into the field and in doing so caused a severe check to JEWEL who almost fell and lost all chance, finishing in last position. Jewel was sent for a veterinary examination and cleared of injury. I'M INFECTIOUS was first away and raced in the lead into the home straight then faded to run 5th . She was sent for a veterinary examination and cleared of injury. |
| Race 6 | MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C4/5 - 375 | Racing into the first turn ZAC ATTACK was checked as DID SHE came across to the rail. ZAC ATTACK was unbalanced and further round the top bend he received another check and lost more ground at that point ending up finishing well back FLAMING PRINCE was caught wide into the first turn and raced wide the whole journey and faded out after that effort and finished at the rear. |

Racing into the first turn there was general tightning between several runners resulting in AFTERNOON DELITE being checked back to the rear and could not get back into contention and finished in last place.
