Judicial report: Weather: Overcast with showers Trainer BDF Craik was fined $50.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when CLEAR CONQUEST weighed in at 26.2 kgs which was 1.5kgs over its last race weight on October 21st.
An inquiry was opened and adjourned under Rules 38.1.b and 38.3.a in regards to an alleged incident after the running of Race 8.

Race 1 LIVESPORTS BAR SPRINT - HEAT 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 HOMEBUSH MAC was slow to jump and remained last throughout. Into the bend THRILLING TOM received a slight check as COMMON ERROR crossed in front of him. He lost a couple of lengths with WULFGAR and TIODI tangling as a result and losing ground. There was no head on coverage available for this race.
Race 2 LIVESPORTS BAR SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 ELECTROSTATIC and THRILLING PARIS came together soon after the jump settling at the rear. Into the bend NO ILLUSIONS ran outwards tightening THRILLING PARIS, RICONIAK and CAWBOURNE SHOW with these dogs losing their chances. Shortly after THRILLING PARIS and CAWBOURNE SHOW tangled when trying to recover. Post race veterinary checks on NO ILLUSIONS and CAWBOURNE SHOW revealed no injuries.
Race 3 RODEWALD HART & BROWN SPRINT - C3/4 - 318 RIALTO GUN and the favourite DARN RIGHT were both slow to jump and came together soon after. They were never in contention thereafter.
Race 4 GARRARD HORSE & HOUND PUKEKOHE SPRINT - C2 - 318 TRASIT jumped straight to the lead coming into contact briefly with SUPER HOUND as it crossed. This in turn tightened HE'S A KIWI and JACKI FLEX. HE'S A KIWI checked off runners on the bend when devoid of racing room losing ground and remaining well back. BIGTIME DANCER also ran wide at this time and lost ground. At the lure BIG ARCHIE was knocked over by chasing dogs. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury.
Race 5 LIVESPORTS BAR SPRINT - HEAT 3 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 SAMS RENEGADE was tightened into the bend losing his chance. In this incident DISTINCTLY ROYS was also checked and dragged TOP DEAL down from behind. A post race veterinary check of TOP DEAL revealed no injury. Following the race the winner MISS COOL DASH was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed a laceration to her left hind dorsal requiring stitches with a six day stand down recommended. BILLY THUNDER (HS Laagland) enteritis. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 5 days up to and including 8 November 2007. MISS COOL DASH (NP Green) lacerations and stitches to left hind dorsal. Rule 82.1. 6 days up to and including 9 November 2007.
Race 6 COMMERCIAL PLUMBING DISTANCE - C0d - 603 All clear.
Race 7 JACK'S WHOLESALE MEATS SPRINT - C3 - 318 COMICAL ALI and STREET TALL in the rush to the bend and lost ground. A post race veterinary check of COMICAL ALI revealed split webbing with a fourteen day stand down recommended. COMICAL ALI (GJ Noakes) split webbing. Rule 82.1. 14 days up to and including 17 November 2007.
Race 8 PELORUS TRUST STAKES - C4/5 - 527 All clear.
Race 9 'CHRISTMAS AT THE RACES' 29/11 SPRINT - C3/4 - 318 KALDEN KAOS and NEW CLEAR POWER tangled when well back on the home turn. At the lure the winner PUNISH took a tumble and ended up on the inside of the track. The dog was checked and found to be free of injury.
Race 10 THE ALAMO BAR & GRILL 6 PACK STAKES - C2/3 - 527 KILLER TOUCH and ASHBOURNE FALCON came together into the first bend with AUGUSTA ALLEN receiving a slight check in behind them. THRILLING HUBBA (GR Farrell) stood down at Waikato and Districts GRC on 1 November 2007. Rule 82.1. 5 days up to and including 5 November 2007.
