M.Gardner the Trainer of SWEET SECRET was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.6 kilograms underweight.

Race 1	MCENTEE EVENT HIRE - C0 - 305	STOLEN THUNDER was checked on the first corner, went back to last and lost all chance of a placing. BIGTIME ACTION was checked on the bend and moved out causing a check to LECTROMAN who fell. LECTROMAN was examined by the Vet and stood down for 4 days with lacerations. MANNIN THE WAKA G.Clarke Rule 82 Suffered from carpus bruising and stood down for 6 days to and including 07.11.07. LECTROMAN Freeman & Turnwald Rule 82 Checked and fell and suffered lacerations and stood down for 4 days to and including 05.11.07.
Race 2	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C1 - 305	BEKA'S ROSE was slow to begin and stayed back throughout and finished last. SUPREME TEDDY was checked in the race to the first corner, lost all chance and finished in 2nd last place. BLUE CHIP VIRUS was handy to the first corner but was checked when BIGTIME EXPRESS moved out and he lost several lengths and all chance.
Race 3	GUTHRIE BOWRON - C1/2 - 520	RUSH HOUR was handy to the first corner but was checked, went back to last and never recovered and finished in last place. ELLES HOT led until the final bend but eased when other dogs moved up on each side and eventually she finished in 6th place. ELLES HOT was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 b and is required to trial under Rule 81.1 before its next Totalisator start. KIWI ASSASSIN Ex Manawatu on 31.10.07. ELLES HOT B.Goldsack Rule 80.1 b Failed to pursue the lure and was stood down for 28 days to and including 29.11.07 and required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1.
Race 4	KEENAN CONCRETE - C2 - 305	MARBLE NUGGET ran in in the back straight and caused checks to BOLD JENNI, HOMEBUSH MAX and HOMEBUSH LEGEND and they all lost ground and finished in the last four places with MARBLE NUGGET last of them all.
Race 5	SPICERS PAPER - C3 - 305	BRONX APPEAL ran out from the start and checked GUS THE BUILDER, LAGOON LADY, LITTLE INTENT and PRAISE who all lost ground. The winner HOMEBUSH TERRA moved in on the first corner and checked BRONX APPEAL who lost ground but recovered to finish well for 3rd place. PRAISE was checked on the first corner, almost fell and lost all chance of a placing. HOMEBUSH JADE led from the start but appeared to suffer an injury approaching the straight entrance and dropped out to finish in last place. HOMEBUSH JADE was examined by the Vet and found to have suffered a fractured hock and was euthanased. LAGOON LADY ran onto the back of HOMEBUSH JADE as she went back and this may have resulted in the seriousness of the injury. HOMEBUSH BASMATI B.Goldsack Rule 64.10 In a seasonal condition and stood down for 28 days to and including 28.11.07. HOMEBUSH JADE Freeman & Turnwald Rule 82 Suffered a fractured hock and was euthanased.
Race 6	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C3/4 - 520	THRILLING MAX ran out on the first corner and forced THRILLING ZOE and RAMROD REASON wide on the bend over extra ground and they finished in the last three places.
Race 7	GARY ROSS DECORATOR - C4/5 - 520	LISA SHIRAZ ran in racing to the first corner and crowded JONNY MARCO who dropped back to last but then recovered well to run on for 2nd place. The winner IRRITABILITY moved in in the home straight and bumped and crowded COCKNEY ASSASSIN for several strides and this may have affected its chance of a closer placing than 4th. STRETCHES Ex Manawatu on 31.10.07.
Race 8	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C5 - 305	Tightening soon after the start resulted in checks to SHARIMORE, HILLYS TIP and BIGTIME RETRO who all lost ground. SHARIMORE was checked again on the first corner, dropped out to last and stayed there to the finish. SIR KRETION Ex Manawatu on 31.10.07.
Race 9	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' - C4/5 - 305	The winner FIVE ACROSS moved in on the first corner and checked ADAMINSKI who dropped back slightly onto THRILLING MELODY who was forced out wide over extra ground on the bend. THRILLING GYPSY also ran wide over extra ground on the bend and they finished well back.
Race 10	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C1 - 305	One of the favourites KARISAMORE was checked several times during the race and dropped back to the rear and stayed there to the finish.
