Race 1	PAY YOUR SUBS SPRINT - C0 - 375	THRILLING ISAAC went up in the air on leaving the boxes but recovered well to score a convincing win. Racing into the first turn there was buffeting between CRYSTAL CYRUS and SKIPPY BOGANGLES for several strides. CALL ME ROCKY raced wide into and around the top turn.
Race 2	HAMIL BUILDERS MIDDLE DISTANCE - C1 - 457	Soon after the start there was tightning between several runners on the inside of STORM LARGE as he attempted to cross over towards the rail. REWIRED (fav) was noticed to lose his place as they made their way around the first bend and finished well back. REWIRE was sent for a veterinary examination where no injuries were detected but was found to have sand in its eyes which would account for a below par performance. No stand down was required. DANCING TESSA A & S Frost Rule 64 Tenderness in left front shoulder. Vet cert supplied 10 days stand down to and including 5.11.07. RODGER BAXTER P Freeman & A Turnwald Rule 64 Injury to the flexor tendons on the right front metacarpus. Vet cert supplied 10 days stand down to and including 8.11.07.
Race 3	DECOART PRODUCTS LTD, LEVIN - C0 - 375	SRORM WATCHER and SNATCH A CRADLE where slow away and never got into contention thereafter. As the field left the boxes, ARANUI SPARK came over sharply and checked runners on his inside with the worst affected being HUTT PARK LASS and BIGTIME TRACKER. As they turned for the run home HOMEBUSH ELMO had to check back off the heels of MANNIN THE WAKA and was forced wider into the straight.
Race 4	RADIOWORKS MANAWATU SPRINT - C1 - 375	Coming down to the first turn MISS MANEATER and ROCKET WOLF came together for several strides as they tried to get clear of each other. ONE FOR JACK L J Gill Rule 64 Injury to left quadtriceps femoris muscle. Dog presented and 10 days stand down to and including 6.11.07.
Race 5	FREEDOM PRINT & DESIGN HOUSE - C2 - 375	As the field raced into the first turn SWAPSY ran up on the heels of KIWI ASSASSIN for a stride causing KIWI ASSISSIN to lose ground and he raced wide around the top turn and into the home straight and finished 5th. KIWI ASSASSIN was checked by the veterinary surgeon and was found to have suffered a spike injury requiring a stand down period of 14 days. KIWI ASSASSIN F W Kite Spike wound to left hind leg Rule 82.1. 14 days stand down to and including 13.11.07.
Race 6	KERB & CONCRETE MAIDEN FINAL - C0f - 457	Going into the first turn EMILY BREEZE got on the heels of BIGTIME SID and was checked back causing FLIRTATIOUS WINK to get on the heels of EMILY BREEZE and these two dogs lost ground and could not get back into contention from thereon in. LOTTO BALLS was forced to take evasive action from this incident and raced wide into and around the top bend costing him valuable ground.
Race 7	PAUL CLARIDGE ELECTRICAL SPRINT - C2/3 - 375	Soon after the start RED BIRD (fav) was tightened and bumped between AFTERNOON DELIGHT and AGENT VICKI and was squeezed back to the rear. RED BIRD made ground through the field as the race progressed and ran on for an unlucky second placing. LAGOON RISE P Freeman & A Turnwald Rule 64 Has trachetis and vet cert supplied and 10 days stand down to and including 8.11.07.
Race 8	WIZARD HOME LOANS - C3/4 - 457	Coming down to the first turn HOMEBUSH ELVY had to check back off the heels of ROYAL RICHIE as he was looking for racing room .
Race 9	MCENTEE EVENT HIRE SPRINT - C4 - 375	CRYSTAL WENDY was slow away but made good ground around the field to run on well for second placing.
Race 10	OUTBACK TRADING COMPANY LTD - C5 - 375	Going into the first turn FLAMING PRINCE got on the heels of MARTY HALL who shifted out and HILLYS TIP and THRILLING AUDI ran up the back of MARTY HALL. SIR KRETION was also slightly hampered in this incident. At the lure STRETCHES fell over and was noticed to be lame and was sent for a veterinary examination and stood down for 28 days with a toe injury. SIR KRETION and THRILLING AUDI were also examined by the Vet and both were stood down for 10 days due to injuries received at some stage of the race. The lure driver was questioned as to why he had pulled the lure up so quickly which resulted in a pile up. He was advised that the incident was unacceptable and dangerous to the runners. G.Clarke the Trainer of DREAMS OF VISION left the course before being contacted but will be spoken to advisedly after it was observed that he had moved to the side of the boxes as the field jumped and this is not acceptable practice. THRILLING PIRATE K Walsh Rule 64 Sprained tensor fascia lata muscle and stood down for 21 days to and including 20.11.07. STRETCHES J.Woolston-Bell Rule 82 Fell at Lure and suffered toe injuries and stood down for 28 days to and including 27.11.07. SIR KRETION L.Ahern Rule 82 Suffered a webbing injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 09.11.07. THRILLING AUDI W.T.Hodgson Rule 82 Suffered a flexor tendon injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 09.11.07.
