Judicial report: Weather: Fine Trainer PW Cleaver was fined $100.00 for a breach of Rule 69.11 when PROOF PISTOL weighed in at 33.6kgs, 1.9kgs under its previous race start on October 14th.

Race 1 | STEEN & MORROW DASH - C3/4 - 375 | NUTTY SQUIRREL was shuffled back on the inside into the bend losing its place. She ran on well for second once clear. BROTHER BADGER was never in the clear eventually checking outwards off MUMBLE JUMBLE and finishing well for his third. |
Race 2 | GENERAL ENGRAVERS MAIDEN - C0 - 375 | ONSET checked off the back of WAIKIKA PIRATE into the bend with TO THE MAX receiving the backwash and losing ground. ONSET and TO THE MAX remained in midfield. |
Race 3 | RODEWALD HART BROWN LTD SPRINT - C4/5 - 375 | IVAN EVANS ran inwards soon after the jump tightening LADY TANDIA, DREAMS OF VISION and SUPER DEAL with these dogs dropping to the rear. |
Race 4 | ROLY BOLTON LTD STAKES - C4 - 457 | WINSOME STATE was the last to jump remaining well back throughout. HOT DICKADEE and SATSUMA tangled when well back at the end of the back straight. |
Race 5 | IVAN & COLLEEN DASH - C1/2 - 375 | After the field had travelled fifty metres the lure slowed and stopped. Two breaks in the electrical system were detected. These breaks were found and fixed and the race times were put back by one race. All dogs were checked by the veterinary surgeon and passed fit to race. In the re-run MISDAMENA was tightened early and dropped to the rear. On the home turn RYANS THUNDER checked sharply outwards off PLENTY OF DASH losing ground. RYANS THUNDER made ground late for fourth. |
Race 6 | WHITE & MORELAND BUILDERS STAKES - C1 - 457 | CAWBOURNE SHOW got on the heels of the pacemaking DREAM TRIP into the bend and lost ground. DREAM TRIP recovered quickly and went to win the event with CAWBOURNE SHOW battling well for fourth. NIGHT ALERT was tightened into the bend dropping to the rear. He remained well back. WARNIE'S BLITZ and JACKO tangled around the bend when racing wide. Both dogs finished beyond midfield. On the home turn ROMAN LEADER checked itself when getting up in behind the leader. ROMAN LEADER made ground well when clear just failing to run the leader down. |
Race 7 | CAROLS TAB - C1 - 375 | RUN ROSIE RUN was slow to jump and remained well back throughout. RAJ JAR appeared to be checked into the bend and lost ground interfering with OUR DELTA and RUN ROSIE RUN who lost ground. There was no head on coverage available for this race. |
Race 8 | DENNIS COLE MEMORIAL SPRINT FINAL - C5 - 375 | ANNIES BRAT was checked around the bend losing ground and settling well back. At the lure DRILLING DAM took a tumble and got knocked by some following dogs. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. |
Race 9 | HAUTAPU VETERINARY CLINIC STAKES - C2/3 - 457 | THRILLING DANE was checked for a stride as TEEJAY breezed past it on the first turn. These two dogs dominated the race from then on. KING JACK checked back to last off THRILLING EVO across the top running on for fifth. |
Race 10 | CAMBRIDGE TAB STAKES - C5 - 457 | FANCY CHARM was checked when in tight quarters on the bend and lost some momentum. He battled thereafter to run fourth. |
