| Race 1 | ADDED ENERGY - C0 - 390 | Into the turn BOY BUGLER crossed over to the rail and checked the running of RICK BAXTER and FREDERICK BAXTER which moved outwards and pushed BIG DAPTO wide. RICK BAXTER recovered to run on well in the straight for 2nd. |
| Race 2 | SGRC MUZZLES - C1 - 390 | BYE BYE HELEN jumped well but in the run to the bend drifted back to the rear and finished 7th. The dog was subject to a post race veterinary check which revealed no injury sustained and the dog was required to undertake a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1 for unsatisfactory performance. NEW SAGE (JT McInerney) stood down at Christchurch Greyhound Racing Club on 23 October 2007 with ruptured medial ligament left hind leg. Rule 82.1. 21 days up to and including 12 November 2007. |
| Race 3 | COLORMARK - C1 - 457 | Soon after the jump MOA HUNTER and MR JOLES came together and lost momentum. On the bend an improving SMOOTH STRIDER collided with PARANOVA as it crossed over and then clipped the heels of WINSOME ASHLEY and went backwards to tail off a distant last. As SMOOTH STRIDER was going back it clipped the rear of KOBBLE UP which recovered to finish on for 3rd. After the finish CONSTABLE KEITH fell heavily. SMOOTH STRIDER and CONSTABLE KEITH were both subject to post race vet checks which showed no injuries were sustained by either dog. |
| Race 4 | SGRC BOUNCE B TABLETS - C1/2 - 390 | THEMELO, JEMALONG EASTERN, HEZA MYSTERY and THRILLING FLAME were all slow to jump, with HEZA MYSTERY and THRILLING FLAME tailing off well at the rear of the field whilst THEMELO ran on well in the straight for 3rd. DELUDED (JT McInerney) stress fracture on hock.Vet certificate to follow. Rule 64.12. 28 days up to and including 20 December 2007. RICHMOND BOB (JT McInerney) scratched at Christchurch Greyhound Racing Club on 23 October 2007 with right hind leg metatarsal soreness. Rule 68.22. 10 days up to and including 1 November 2007. |
| Race 5 | STHLD TIPPING COM FINAL - C2f - 457 | STARLIGHT JEWEL and GOLDEN MOVER tangled into the turn, with GOLDEN MOVER going back to the rear but running on well late to get up for 3rd. | Race 6 | WAXY O'SHEA'S IRISH PUB - C3 - 390 | NURSE NANCY and PAREORA JACK were slow to jump. As NURSE NANCY was improving into the turn it was tightened off the rear of MIDNIGHT FLUTTER and went backwards but ran on fairly in the straight to get up for 5th. SMART WINK (SR Fagan). | Race 7 | ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C2/3 - 457 | OPAWA VANE jumped awkwardly and pushed outwards onto JOHNNY BAXTER. OPAWA VANE continued to run outwards and collided with FIRM OFFER. On the turn JOHNNY BAXTER and FIRM OFFER came together ate the rear of the field and continued to jostle for several strides, losing ground to fill the last two placings. |
| Race 8 | FROG N'FIRKIN - C3/4 - 390 | HOMEBUSH DUNCAN was slow to jump and made ground late for 5th. In the run to the turn VULCAN EARL was tightened and went back on top of BEAU which in turn went back on THRILLING TYKE and BAXTER'S BOY which tailed off last. |
| Race 9 | OSBORNE ENGINEERING, BLUFF - C4/5 - 390 | REMUS and PROSPERO were both slow to jump. Soon after the jump MR OPAWA pushed across and checked the running of PROSPERO which then jostled with REMUS into the turn with both dogs finishing at the rear. MULISHA BALE (JT McInerney) was scratched at Christchurch Greyhound Racing Club on 23 October 2007 with diarrhoea and vomiting. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and inclding 29 October 2007. |
| Race 10 | ILT SPEIGHTS ALE HOUSE - C4/5 - 457 | ROMAN CASTLE and WINSOME SHOW were slow to jump. In the run to the turn OPAWA STATE was tightened and pushed to the rear and finished in 7th place. BEE ROCCA (AC Roberts) was scratched at Christchurch Greyhound Racing Club on 23 October 2007 with right hock strain. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 1 November 2007. |
