Judicial report: Weather: Raining Mrs K O'Regan and SP Mann were both given final warnings in regards to obeying the orders of the starter.

| Race 1 | WELCOME TO CAMBRIDGE SPRINT - C3/4 - 375 | NITRO LAD was tightened when crossed into the bend and dropped to the rear where he stayed. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. THRILLING DANE checked outwards off SUPER DEAL on the bend and came into contact with NUTTY SQUIRREL who lost ground. SUISSA was also pushed wide and lost ground in this incident. THRILLING DANE and SUISSA both ran on well over the final stages to be in behind the placegetters. TENNYSON MISS (GN Pomeroy) strained left fore shoulder. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 23 October 2007. |
| Race 2 | MATANGI MAIDEN - C0 - 375 | DEMOLISHING tried to run off the rail in the run to the bend losing ground and dropping to the rear. BOLD ANGEL, WAIKIKA PIRATE and RAJ JAR all tangled into the bend and lost their chances. Favourite THRILLING BLOKE got to the lead into the bend and ran very wide around the home turn. He straightened up in the straight and ran away to win impressively. |
| Race 3 | IMPROVERS FINAL - C1f - 457 | Permission was granted for ROCKET WOLF to be boxed first under Rule 72.10. HE'S A KIWI was tightened soon after the jump drifting to last. He made up ground quickly on the bend and battled away to finish fifth. |
| Race 4 | SUPERIOR CHUNKY DOG ROLL STAKES - C0 - 457 | FREEZING POINT checked off runners into the bend and stumbled for a couple of strides losing ground. THRILLING TWIST was forced to race wide around this runner and lost her chance with these two dogs finishing well back. |
| Race 5 | WAIKATO RACEPIX DASH - C1 - 375 | CAWBOURNE SHOW ran inwards on the bend tightening THAT BLOKE, WULFGAR and ULTRA LESSON with these dogs losing their chances. |
| Race 6 | T.A.B PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE STAKES - C4/5 - 457 | TEE SHIRT and FANCY CHARM came together when racing in tight quarters into the bend with FANCY CHARM appearing to hit the running rail. Neither dog lost their place and remained close to the pace finishing fourth and fifth respectively. A post race veterinary check on FANCY CHARM revealed no injury. JOHNNY (BDF Craik) was a late scratching at kennelling being found to be lame and having a swollen/sore metatarsal right hind leg. Rule 68.26. 7 days up to and including 24 October 2007. |
| Race 7 | DENNIS COLE MEMORIAL SPRINT - HEAT 1 - C5q - 375 Heat 1 | CAWBOURNE BOBBY and DREAMS OF VISION were forced wide into the bend with both dogs losing ground. WIZELEE went wide on the home turn but once balanced made up a lot of ground for its second. |
| Race 8 | DENNIS COLE MEMORIAL SPRINT - HEAT 2 - C5q - 375 Heat 1 | TRENDY SON was checked soon after the jump and lost ground settling well back and remaining there. |
| Race 9 | RAGLAN SPRINT - C1/2 - 375 | MASSACHUSETTS was tightened into the bend and went backwards checking MISDAMENA. These dogs both lost their chances in this incident. |
| Race 10 | DUAL CODE HERE NEXT THURSDAY NIGHT - C2/3 - 457 | KING JACK was awkwardly out of the boxes losing a few lengths. He did well for third. RIALTO ROSIE ducked inwards soon after the jump checking TEEJAY who attempted to hurdle her. Both dogs lost a lot of ground but TEEJAY made up a large slice to run fourth. |
