STEFANIA was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a leg muscle injury. STEFANIA S.Blackburn Rule 82 Suffered a leg muscle injury and stood down for 7 days to and including 23.10.07
Race 2	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C2 - 520	SEILATAN was slow to begin and settled in last place. THRILLING JANE was checked soon after the start and then ran wide on the first bend over extra ground and finished in last place. KIWI ASSASSIN F.Kite Rule 64 Suffering from a sprained carpus and stood down for 10 days to and including 24.10.07. DREAMY LOVE B.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from a calf muscle injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 21.10.07.
Race 3	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C0 - 305	SHANNDOAH was very slow away losing several lengths and she tailed the field throughout to finish in last place. DOUBLE DECLUTCH was checked and pushed wide on the bend and finished well back.
Race 4	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C3 - 305	All clear.
Race 5	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' - C0dq - 645 Heat 1	IN THE MOB was tightened between runners soon after the start and then had to check off the heels of ELLES HOT on the first corner and dropped back to last. IN THE MOB was observed to be making up ground over the final stages to finish in 5th place. RAMROD REASON Woolston-Bell & Heath Rule 64 Suffering from bruising and abrasions and stood down for 10 days to and including 23.10.07.
Race 6	GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C3/4 - 520	One of the favourites SOPHIE HALL was handy until the back straight but then dropped back and finished several lengths last. SOPHIE HALL was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a strained hock. PALSY O'CEIRIN was checked on the first turn and lost several lengths and finished well back. SOPHIE HALL A & J Hall Rule 82 Suffered a strained hock and stood down for 28 days to and including 13.11.07.
Race 7	MCENTEE EVENT HIRE - C0dq - 645 Heat 1	LISA SHIRAZ jumped in at the start and checked COOL HEART and THRILLING PATSY who lost ground and went back to the rear.
Race 8	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C1 - 520	The favourite DAMAGE MODE drew box 8 and was bumped and forced wide on the first bend. DAMAGE MODE was last into the back straight and was again checked, never recovered and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 9	THE RADIO WORKS - C1/2 - 305	BLACK ELLY was checked on the first corner, lost ground and never recovered and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 10	METEOR PRINTERS - C1 - 305	THRILLING SKY was checked early in the race and then eased off the heels of WHISPERING HOME on the first turn, ran wide and forced QUICK LAUGH and PISTOL LARRY wide on the bend and they finished well back. THRILLING CHARM A.Udy Rule 64 Suffering from a carpal sprain and stood down for 7 days to and including 22.10.07.
