Race 1	METEOR PRINTERS - HEAT 1 - C0q - 305 Heat 1	The first race was held for one minute due to a wind storm going across the track. As the field went from the boxes BIGTIME DORA came across and checked BIGTIME LEGEND and a few strides on from there TARA LILLY came out and cannonned into BIGTIME DORA who was able to keep going from there to win CAPP MANNERING and WHIPWHOP MISS raced wide into the first turn costing them ground, CAPP MANNERING ran on well from there for his third placing. TARA LILLY was sent for a veterinary examination and was found to have an injury requiring a five day stand down from racing. MANNIN THE WAKA G M Clarke Late Scratching on veterinary advice at kennelling due to a painful metacarpal right front Rule 68.26. 10 days stand down to and including 21. 10.07. TARA LILLY B Duganzich spike wounds right hind leg and some bruising Rule 82.1. 5 days stand down to and including 16.10.07.
Race 2	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C1 - 520	Coming into the first turn TYPHOON GRACIE ran up on the heels of RUSH HOUR and checked back and then moved outwards and checked THRILLING MILLY and ANOTHER SWAP who where forced to go wide around the turn losing all chance thereafter DAMAGE MODE (winner) was sent for a veterinary examination for cramp, but recovered quickly and no stand down was required.
Race 3	GUTHRIE BOWRON - HEAT 2 - C0q - 305 Heat 1	At the start CALL ME GIZMO and MY ESSENCE came together for a couple of strides . Coming down towards the first turn TIMMY VINE was slightly hampered between BIGTIME MISS and DANCING TESSA and went back losing his position near the lead. LOTTO BALLS struck trouble coming down to the first turn getting squeezed by several runners resulting in him ending up at the rear of the field and he could not get back into contention from there on in A veterinary inspection was ordered on BIGTIME MISS after it was reported that the dog may have been in season after the race. The vet inspection proved inconclusive and the dog will be rexamined in five days ,but no stand down is imposed at this time.
Race 4	KEENAN CONCRETE - C1/2 - 520	All clear. BOLD JENNI Ex Wanganui on 10.10.07 MISS FINE LINE Ex Wanganui on 10.10.07.
Race 5	MCENTEE EVENT HIRE - C3 - 305	Soon after the start THRILLING ZOE was looking to get off the rail and in doing so came into contact with MY SINBAD who was crossing to the rail, THRILLING ZOE got on the heels of MY SINBAD at that point and suffered a severe check causing her to end up at the rear and could not recover from there on in .
Race 6	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C3/4 - 520	Halfway down the home straight THRILLING AFFAIR was running on strongly and came between dogs checking STRETCHES who was tiring at that point.
Race 7	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C4 - 305	THRILLING SNOOP was slow away, tried to go forward around the top turn, but found it hard to make up ground in a fast run race . FYVIE BELLE P.Taylor Rule 64.10 In a seasonal condition and stood down for 28 days to and including 07.11.07.
Race 8	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C5 - 520	Going into the first turn RIGHTLY ACCUSED had to check back off the back of BIGTIME ASSASSIN and ran out taking KEROMA ASSASSIN very wide around the first turn. RIGHTLY ACCUSSED never got back into contention and finished in last place. Coming down to the post from the start THRILLING JEN who had crossed to the rail got in too close and hit and bounced off the rail at an awkward angle and was seen to be in distress soon after and pulled up in the back stretch. THRILLING JEN was examined by the veterinary surgeon and was found to have fractured a hock and was stood down for 28 days. THRILLING JEN A Udy fractured hock Rule 82.1. 28 days stand down to and including 8.11.07.
Race 9	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' - C5 - 305	Soon after the start there was buffeting between several runners with FANCY LINE and BIGTIME ELLA as FANCY LINE attempted to change ground for clear racing room. FARMOR BLISS was quick out of the boxes into the lead ,but faltered after a 100 metres and dropped out to finish in last place. FARMOR BLISS was sent for a veterinary examination and stood down for 28 days due to a gracilus muscle injury. FARMOR BLISS D J Parata gracilus muscle injury Rule 82.1. 28 days stand down required to and including 8.11.07.
Race 10	SPICEERS PAPER - C5 - 305	RAMBUCHAN was slow away. Coming down to the first turn ZAC ATTACK was endevouring to get across to the rail and caused tightning to several runners resulting in THRILLING MICKEY being pushed over towards the rail as RAMBUCHAN was attempting to improve up the inside. RAMBUCHAN was severely checked in this incident and was caught up on the running rail and pulled up. RAMBUCHAM was examined by the veterinary surgeon where he was found to have suffered severe injuries to his foreleg and was euthanased. RAMBUCHAN G&S Hayden Holmes serious foreleg injuries euthanased.
