Race 1	ADVANCE PERFORMANCE SPRINT - C4 - 295	WHATA DUDE was slow from the inside box. The favourite BLAZIN A TRAIL and PAINT THE STARS were caught wide throughout the race to finish at the rear.
Race 2	CHALLENGE OPAWA ALL UP DASH - C0 - 295	MISS BAXTER, SISTER DEE, DAPTO GIRL, AMREET and BLACK IN BRAVE were checked from general tightening into the bend all losing ground to finish some distance from the placegetters.
Race 3	WWW.CHRISTCHURCHGREYHOUNDS.CO.NZ DASH - C1 - 295	The favourite LAUGARNO DENNIS was handy early before coming in contact with BRANDYLICIOUS prior to the home turn, drifting out to finish near the rear. A post race race veterinary check revealed LAUGARNO DENNIS to have tied up with no stand down recommended. BRANDYLICIOUS finished on for second. BOTANY ROY (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kennelling with right shouylder soreness. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 7 days up to and including 1 October 2007.
Race 4	TUESDAY PLACE PICK STAKES - C0 - 520	WINSOME DIGNITY was slow to jump settling last and was foced wide around the bend by ABBEY HAVOC. WINSOME DIGNITY ran on late for fourth with ABBY HAVOC well back. IMA BLUES BOY (JE Dunn) stood down at Southland GRC on 20 September 2007. Rule 82.1. 7 days up to and including 26 September 2007.
Race 5	INVIEW PRINT SPRINT - C1 - 295	ROBTITLE was slow to jump settling last. Into the bend DELUDED was checked coming back on HOMEBUSH LARKIN with checks to HONCHO BAY and an improving ROBTITLE. As a result of this contact ROBTITLE was flung sideways colliding with HONCHO BAY and THEMELO who fell heavily. THEMELO regained his feet to finish the event as did ROBTITLE who was badly checked in the incident. Both were subject to post race veterinary checks which revealed no injury to either dog. HAMBURGER (JT McInerney) was a late scratching at kennelling with right shoulder soreness. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.26. 7 days up to and including 1 October 2007.
Race 6	WILSONS SPORTS BAR & TAB DASH - C5 - 295	HOMEBUSH DUNCAN was very slow to jump and NGAWI BAY drifted towards the rear after the jump. They filled the last two placings.
Race 7	CELTIC ARMS TAVERN STAKES - C0 - 520	Into the first bend CONSTABLE KEITH moved down towards the rail tightening MAJIMBA, TOYA, YANNA, HOMEBUSH BOND and CLAN MCDEE who lost all chance. These dogs finished 10 lengths from the third placegetter.
Race 8	SHIRLEY TAB SPRINT - C0 - 295	The favourite BLUSH BALE was slow to jump before improving through the field to finish second. MUM'S REFLECTION and GOLD QUIZ were tightened after the jump both finishing well back. FREDERICK BAXTER checked out off BOY GENIUS into the bend checking CATCH A DIVA. PINBALL WIZARD (R Adcock) was a late scratchingg at kennelling when found to be in season. Vetrinary certificate supplied. Rule 68.25. 28 days up to and including 22 October 2007.
Race 9	GARRARDS HORSE AND HOUND DASH - C3 - 295	HOMEBUSH HECKLE and the favourite PIZZA GIRL were tightened after the jump settling at the rear. When trying to improve around the field she struck the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH JENNA losing momentum before switching down to the rail finishing on for third. HOMEBUSH HECKLE finished midfield. MULBERRY SNOOP raced into tight quarters around the bend before drifting out to finish last.
Race 10	PUB CHARITY STAKES - C1 - 520	Into the first bend CYBER BLUE crossed GROOVY BAND resulting in her clipping CYBER BLUE'S hindlegs who fell heavily before regaining her feet to finish the event. Approaching the home straight CYBER BLUE in improving between HIGHWAY BAXTER and BERT BADGER was tightened losing momentum to finish fourth. GROOVY BAND was subject to a post race veterinary examination which revealed no injury.
Race 11	EXCEED ESSENTIAL BOOST FOR GREYHOUNDS DASH - C1 - 295	BORACIC LINT was checked when tightened by ETOILE NOIR and SAMUAL BAXTER as they drove to the lead. BORACIC LINT came back on IS A HAND with ELLE VOLI running wide to avoid them They lost all chance to fill the last three placings. Both IS A HAND and BORACIC lint were subject to post race veterinary check with no injury detected. HOMEBUSH ALIDA (JT McInerney) left fore scapula soreness. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 14 days up to and including 8 October 2007.
Race 12	MURRAY @ RE/MAX PH 033715005 DASH - C2 - 295	The favourite TORQUE TRENDY was checked by HOMEBUSH BREE as she drove to the lead, with TORQUE TRENDY coming back and checking SMART WAY, LAGOON RISE and HOMEBUSH JOCK. Soon after TORQUE TRENDY clipped the heels of PLATINUM WALK. These five dogs lost all chance finishing well behind the placegetters.
Race 13	CANTERBURY DRAUGHT SIX PACK - C2 - 520	LOUIE MCDODD drifted to the rear after the jump never improving. A post race veterinary check revealed a bruised right thigh with a 10 day stand down recommended. The favourite GROOVY SHOT and BARDO'S ANGEL tangled into the first bend running wide to settle well back. GROOVY SHOT ran on late for third with BARDO'S ANGEL finishing near the rear. LOUIE MCDODD (JA McMillan) bruising to right thigh. Rule 82.1. 10 days up to and including 4 October 2007.
