P.Morris the Trainer of ARANUI SPEEDY was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.3 kilograms overweight.
M.Gardner the Trainer of JUST A DRIP was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.2 kilograms overweight.

Race 1 METEOR PRINTERS - C1/2 - 305 SEILATAN was very slow away, lost several lengths and all chance and finished in 2nd last place. HOMEBUSH DIESEL dropped out to finish several lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with muscle soreness. HOMEBUSH DIESEL S.Clark Rule 82 Suffering from muscle soreness behind and stood down for 7 days to and including 27.09.07.
Race 2 WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C0 - 520 OUR PRICE ran in from the start and collided with CHAMSIN CREEK and settled at the rear. OUR PRICE was checked again starting the final bend and ran wide around the bend over extra ground but finished well for 4th place.
Race 3 KEENAN CONCRETE - C2 - 520 ARANUI SPEEDY ran in from the start and checked JUST A DRIP, BENNY BAXTER, THRILLING DAISY, THRILLING JANE and HOMEBUSH ELVY and they all lost ground. JUST A DRIP began to drift out entering the back straight and finished several lengths last. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days due to general soreness. SABLE RAEDER Ex Wanganui on 19.09.07. JUST A DRIP M.Gardner Rule 82 Suffering from general muscle soreness and stood down for 7 days to and including 27.09.07.
Race 4 RUSHIRE DASH - C1 - 305 HARKA LEE was checked on the first corner and dropped back onto EDDIE TOMCAT and they both lost ground and finished in the last two places. KENMARE Freeman and Turnwald Rule 64.10 In a seasonal condition and stood down for 28 days to and including 17.10.07.
Race 5 GUTHRIE BOWRON - C1 - 520 THRILLING MILLY was a late scratching when found to have an infected wound to a carpus when removed from the kennels. THRILLING MILLY was stood down for 7 days. The favourite OUR SANDMAN was last away and failed to race up to expectations but did make up some ground for 4th place. OUR SANDMAN was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with track leg. KAI MOANA G.Childs Rule 68 A late scratching due to back muscle soreness and stood down for 4 days to and including 24.09.07. THRILLING MILLY Freeman & Turnwald Rule 68 A late scratching due an infected carpus and stood down for 7 days to and including 27.09.07. OUR SANDMAN A.Duganzich Rule 82 Suffering from track leg and stood down for 28 days to and including 18.10.07.
Race 6 MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C3 - 305 All clear.
Race 7 DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C4/5 - 520 All clear. RAMBUCHAN G & S Hayden Holmes Rule 64 Suffering from a nail bed infection, was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 26.09.07.
Race 8 MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C5 - 305 BEST TELL PIE ran out from the start and caused jostling to ZENSU, HILLYS TIP and FRIDAY CULTURE and they all lost a little ground.
Race 9 BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' - C5 - 305 SEXY ASSASSIN ran in sharply from the start and caused checks to SHARIMORE, FARMOR BLISS, BIGTIME ELLA, TOKEN DIAMOND and FANCY LINE who all lost ground. FANCY LINE and BIGTIME ELLA recovered to finish 2nd and 3rd. THRILLING KELLY was handy to the first corner but was checked, went back several places and never recovered and finished in 6th place.
Race 10 SPICERS PAPER - C4 - 305 PAPAMOA LASS ran in soon after the start and caused checks to NOWHERE TO RUN, HOMEBUSH BASMATI and POLSKA who all lost ground and they finished in the last three places. FYVIE BELLE P.Taylor Rule 68 Suffering from a wrist injury, was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 26.09.07. This was a late scratching due to a communication breakdown.
