Race 1	METEOR PRINTERS - C1 - 305	PISTOL LARRY, BIGTIME ROYALE, WOODSTOCK ROCKS and SUPREME TEDDY were all checked on the first corner and they never recovered and finished in the last four places. HOMEBUSH AUSSIE Ex Christchurch on 11.09.07.
Race 2	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C1 - 520	The favourite BOTANY ROY bumped with HAMBURGER and SAMUEL BAXTER soon after the start and they lost ground. BOTANY ROY was checked again on the first corner, raced wide around the bend and never recovered and finished in last place. NEW SAGE Ex Christchurch on 11.09.07
Race 3	RUSHIRE DASH - C0 - 305	BLUE CHIP VIRUS and GOES SCIROCCO collided soon after the start and settled back in the field. NEMO BRAND was slow to begin and then ran wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in last place. FOUR WHITE SOX Ex Wanganui on 12.09.07 CHAMSIN CREEK Ex Wanganui on 12.09.07.
Race 4	KEENAN CONCRETE - C1/2 - 305	HOMEBUSH DIESEL and HOMEBUSH SQUIRT collided in the race to the first corner and HOMEBUSH DIESEL dropped back to last. HOMEBUSH SQUIRT was then checked on the bend and lost ground and they finished in the last two places.
Race 5	WATERLOO CUP HEAT - C5q - 520 Heat 1	LAGOON PHOENIX was a Club scratching without penalty after regaining the field and racing in a Waterloo Cup heat the previous day at Christchurch. HEATHERLEA ROSE began very awkwardly and settled at the rear. HEATHERLEA ROSE was checked again on the first bend, never recovered and finished in last place. FLAG THE BANK was checked on the first corner and went back to near the rear and finished well back. TOP FANCY finished well back and appeared to suffer an injury, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days. LAGOON PHOENIX Club scratching. TOP FANCY D.Schofield Rule 82 Suffered a shoulder injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 11.10.07.
Race 6	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C3 - 305	HOMEBUSH BREE was a Club scratching due to being drawn into the wrong class race. SEXY BEAST, HOMEBUSH JENNA and BAXTER'S BOY were checked on the first corner and lost ground. SEXY BEAST was still handy on the bend but was checked again and went back to last and stayed there. He was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with shoulder and carpus injuries. HOMEBUSH BREE Club scratching. SEXY BEAST M.Beeson Rule 82 Checked and suffered shoulder and carpus injuries and stood down for 28 days to and including 11.10.07.
Race 7	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C2/3 - 520	KIWI ASSASSIN was checked starting the final bend and dropped back onto BLUE WATCH and they lost ground and finished in the last two places.
Race 8	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C4/5 - 520	All clear. THRILLING JEN A.Udy Rule 64 Suffering from a pad injury and stood down for 5 days to and including 18.09.07. CHARLSTON GHOST Gained a start in Race 5.
Race 9	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' - C5 - 305	SEXY ASSASSIN ran out on the home turn and bumped SHARIMORE and they both lost momentum for a couple of strides.
Race 10	SPICERS PAPER - C4 - 305	BUG CATCHER and BIGTIME LEE were tightened and checked on the first corner, went back to the rear and finished in the last two places.
