Race 1	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C0 - 305	The meeting was put back one race for the remainder of the programme due to an electrical fault with the lure prior to race one. The lure had been checked and found to be working well prior to the malfunction which was caused by an overload tripping out. PISTOL LARRY, HEY GIRLFRIEND and BIGTIME LASS were checked on the first corner. PISTOL LARRY and HEY GIRLFRIEND never recovered and finished at the rear while BIGTIME LASS recovered to finish in 4th place.
Race 2	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C0 - 520	The favourite OUR PRICE was slow to begin and lost several lengths. OUR PRICE was making ground well until the final bend where he checked off the back of TIMMY VINE and lost all chance of a dividend placing, eventually finishing in 4th place.
Race 3	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C5 - 305	The favourite REGAL PETE was handy to the first corner but was checked and lost ground and finished in 2nd last place. DREAMS OF VISION was also checked in the incident but recovered to finish in 3rd place.
Race 4	KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C3/4 - 305	HOMEBUSH JOY was checked on the first corner and dropped back onto THRILLING AUDI with both losing all chance and they finished well back. RAMBUCHAN Ex Wanganui on 31.08.07 AMBEROSE S.Maher Rule 64 Sprained pectoral and hip support and stood down for 10 days to and including 10.09.07.
Race 5	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS' BFG' - C1 - 520	All clear. MISS ARISTOCRAT Ex Wanganui on 31.08.07. MISS FINE LINE Freeman and Turnwald Rule 64 Lame in a forelimb and was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 10.09.07.
Race 6	RUSHIRE - C5 - 305	BEST TELL PIE moved out from the start and CRYSTAL HISTORY moved in which resulted in jostling between those runners and HILLYS TIP and BIGTIME RISK and they all lost a little ground.
Race 7	GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C2 - 305	EMILIE ONE was checked in the run to the first corner, dropped out to the rear and finished last.
Race 8	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C1 - 305	BIGTIME ROYALE ran into the back of HOMEBUSH JOY on the bend and dropped back and finished in 2nd last place. MISS MANEATER B.Cole Rule 64 Suffering from a toe injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 10.09.07. ZAMWHEN S.Maher Rule 64 Suffering from sprained quadriceps and stood down for 8 days to and including 08.09.07.
