Race 1	WELCOME TO CAMBRIDGE SPRINT - C2 - 375	Permission was granted for THRILLING AJAY to box first in accordance with rule 72.10. DAPTO GLOSS was tightened going into the first bend by THRILLING AJAY and BLUE DENIM. DAPTO GLOSS then ran wide forcing KEROMA SAFARI over extra ground. DAPTO GLOSS finished well back. Favourite THRILLING RIDDLE was slightly slow but ran on well for second. A post race veterinary check on DAPTO GLOSS revealed no injuries.
Race 2	MATANGI MAIDEN - C0 - 375	BILLY THUNDER and THRILLING BETH collided shortly after the start inconveniencing EMILY BREEZE. Both BILLY THUNDER and THRILLING BETH finished well back. A post race veterinary check of BILLY THUNDER revealed injuries to both hind feet with a five day stand down recommended. Favourite CAWBOURNE STACEY attempted to lead all the way just being run down by BIGTIME TEDDY. BILLY THUNDER (H S Laagland). Grazes to both hind top surfaces of feet. Rule 82.1. 5 days up to and including 3 September 2007.
Race 3	T.A.B PUMP & AUTOMOTIVE STAKES - C1 - 457	All clear. GROOVY BAND (J&D Fahey). Wart on pad of inside toe. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including 7 September 2007.
Race 4	SUPERIOR CHUNKY DOG ROLL STAKES - C0 - 457	CAWBOURNE SHOW was slow to begin made ground along the rail before finishing mid field. THRILLING JULIET was slow to begin and didn't recover finishing well back.
Race 5	NZ COMMUNITY TRUST SPRINT - C3/4 - 375	REPEAT OFFENDER was checked by CAWBOURNE BOBBY when racing handy and never recovered finishing well back.
Race 6	WAIKATO RACEPIX DASH - C1 - 375	Favourite THRILLING TOM was slow from the boxes then checked by AGENT VICKI when trying to make ground. THRILLING TOM did not recover and finished well back in the field.
Race 7	NEW ZEALAND RACING SERIES #3 DISTANCE FINAL - RESdf - 747	Favourite FUNNY GIRL settled towards mid field and was about ten lengths behind the leader turning for home before making ground late for second.
Race 8	OPAWA RACING LTD SPRINT - C5 - 375	MONTANA MONARCH was checked in the home straight by BRIGHT CONQUEST. MONTANA MONARCH appeared to hit the rail and a post race veterinary check revealed no injury. SMART WAVES stumbled racing into the first bend when mid field losing ground and failing to recover finishing well back. WINSOME BLITZ (J&D Fahey) club scratching. No penalty.
Race 9	GRASSROOTS SPORTING TRUST STAKES - C5 - 457	Favourite TEE SHIRT settled towards the rear before making ground well in the straight to finish fourth. PADDY FLYIN' (TA Green). Small wound to left fore carpus under bumper pad. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 7 days up to and including 4 September 2007.
Race 10	RACING HERE NEXT THURSDASY NIGHT - C3/4 - 457	VICTORY CHANT was checked by ANNIES BRAT on the first bend with VICTORY CHANT failing to recover and finishing well back. MISS VEE EIGHT (P&L Henley). Upper respiratory infection. Dog presented. Veterinary certificate supplied. Rule 64.12. 10 days up to and including up to and including 7 September 2007.
