| Race 1 | METEOR PRINTERS - C0 - 305 | At the start CEDI SPECIAL was slow away,with HEY GIRLFRIENDand they came together for a couple of strides, soon after that CEDI SPECIAL crossed over towards the rail and caused tightning to the dogs behind him. HEY GIRLFRIEND and ICY DIGIT where squeezed backin this incident and they could not get back into contention from therein. Into the first corner CRYSTAL VIRUS had to change ground and race wide around the top corner costing it valuable ground at that stage. | Race 2 | DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C0 - 520 | Soon after the start HOSTILE THUNDER came across the inside dogs causing checks to GATLIN JEWEL, POSSUM BORN, ARATAKI LAD, and THRILLING DANNI. As they came down towards the first corner THRILLING DANNI made towards the rail and caused GATLIN JEWEL to be tightened up as this dog attempted to keep from colliding with the rail.----------. | Race 3 | WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C3 - 520 | As the field jumped from the boxes ROYAL SQUADRON made straight for the rail and in doing so caused checks to THRILLING AFFAIR, DANCING HARRY, LOUD RIDDLE and PALONE causing them to lose ground at that point and they did not get into the race from thereon. Going into the first turn TOUCH OF SMOKEYand IN THE MOB came together as they jostled for a position . LOUD RIDDLE went amiss during the running. He was sent for a veterinary examination where he was found to have injuries requiring a 28 days stand down period. | Race 5 | KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1/2 - 520 | At the start LISA SHIRAZ came across and checked THRILLING ZOE as she attemped to get to the rail As they came to the corner first time around these two dogs came together again as LISA SHIRAZwas still trying to get to the rail and THRILLING ZOE was keeping her ground. Coming to the home turn FLY BEAU was hampered for some time as he was trying to run on ,but not not find clear racing room until half way down the home straight where he finished close up. BOSS LOU was a late scratching at kenneling due to injuries on the way to the track. BOSS LOU was examined by the veterinary surgeon and was found to have suffered pad injuries requiring a 21 days stand down period----------. Coming down towards the first corner BIGTIME RETRO crossed towards the rail and caused JUST ROCKIN and CATCH CADDY to bump into each other , both these dogs recovered to figure in the first three placings. | Race 8 | MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C4/5 - 520 | Soon after the start FLAG THE BANK caused checks to WARNIEand BIGTIME ASSASSIN these three dogs jostled for some distance down towards the first corner. BLASTING POINT went wide first time out of the straight as he was looking to avoid BIGTIME ASSASSIN who was racing inside of him at that point. WARNIE was observed to strike a bit of trouble pulling up at the lure and was given a veterinary examination where he was found to have suffered an injury requiring a 7 days stand down period from racing. THRILLING MONTY was a scratching dog not presented no vet certificate 28 days stand down imposed, Trainer P Freeman has advised the stewards that this dog has been retired from racing.
