Judicial report: Weather: fine M Gardner (trainer) was fined $50.00 under rule 69.11 for producing DANCING BANSHEE to race at 1.3kgs up from his last race start.
Mr K Benson (handler) was fined $20.00 under rule 71.4 for failing to catch LISA SHRAZ at the conclusion of race seven as arranged by trainer B R D Cole.
DURAN DURAN sustained injuries in race one which required the dog to be euthanased.----------.

Race 1	METEOR PRINTERS - C1/2h - 520	Going into the first corner JUST A DRIP came out onto PITSTOCK JAZZ forcing them to go wide also DURAN DURAN was checked as ARANUI SPEEDY came through to find clear racing room Going towards the first hurdle in the back straight DURAN DURAN was observed to baulk and JUST A DRIP was severly checked and fell on the flat , but recovered to finish at the rear of the field DURAN DURAN was observed to falter as he came to the last hurdle and fell through it and collapsed on the track Duran Duran suffered fatal injuries that required him to be euthanased JUST A DRIP was sent for a veterinary examination ,no abnormalities where found no stand down was required
Race 2	RUSHIRE - C0 - 305	As the dogs left the boxes CEDI SPECIAL was leaning on the side and began awkwardly As the field came towards the first corner KIA MOANA ran wide and carted CEDI SPECIAL with it as that dog was attempting to make ground, CRYSTAL CYRUS was also hampered and went wide to avoid being squeezed back On the top corner BIGTIME ROYALE (fav) who was racing near the lead struck trouble as BIGTIME JOE was making ground around the field causing BIGTIME ROYALE to lose its position and could not get back into contention from there on BIGTIME JOE was able to recover from this incident and run on well for 3rd .
Race 3	KEENAN CONCRETE - C0 - 520	FREDDY O'CEIRIN began awkwardly from the boxes and could not get into contention from there on----------.
Race 4	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C1 - 305	MISS MANEATER (fav) dwelt slightly at the start Soon after the start there was jostling as HOMEBUSH JOY came over as PSYCHOMATIC came out and MISS MANEATERwas squeezed out to the rear MISS ARISTOCRAT, TEENYWEENY, and SUPREME TEDDY jostled for several strides coming down towards the first corner resulting in KIA KAHA making the first corner a bit awkwardly but he ran on well for his 3rd placing MISS MANEATER was forced to race a bit wide on the top of the corner but was able to get intowards the rail soon after and ran on for 4th placing----------. .
Race 5	GUTHERIE BOWRON - C3 - 305	Soon after the start STRETCHES and TRILLING AUDI came together briefly On the top corner there was jostling as THRILLING AUDI was looking to get over and checked STRETCHES onto SEXY DELIGH ,MY SINBAD and HOMEBUSH MAX where also affected in this incident PEPPERONNI was a scratching a 10 day stand down was imposed--------. PEPPERONNI A S Trass mild pain left wrist dog presented rule 64.12. 5 days stand down to and including 27.08.07.
Race 6	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C4/5 - 305	THRILLING SNOOP was slow away As the field raced into the first corner BEST TELL PIE was leading and crossed over to the rail as NOWHERE TO RUN behind it was improving and had to check back and moved out and checked WAITAHA RUA and to a lesser degree THRILLING SNOOP who was attempting to make ground around the field THRILLING SNOOPand WAITAHA RUA ran wide around the top corner into the home straight losing ground as a result of the earlier interferance .
Race 7	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C1/2 - 520	At the start THRILLING DAISY and LISA SHIRAZ CAME briefly Going past the post the first time THRILLING DAISY and LISA SHIRAZ(fav) where racing tightly and THRILLING CLEO raced through on their inside , then changed ground out to get clear racing room causing THRILLING DAISYto push LISA SHIRAZ wide going around the first corner LISA SHIRAZ lost a lot of ground through the interferance and could not make up the lost ground to get back into contention beating only one dog home SEILATAN was a scratching 5 day stand down given RALPH was a scratching under the 100km rule----------. SEILATAN P Freeman& A Turnwald dog presented stage-1 muscle soreness left and right shoulder and left foot rule 64.12. 5 days stand down to and including 27.08.07. RALPH M Gardner no stand down 100km rule 63.10.
Race 8	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C5 - 305	Racing into the first corner CLASSIC CONQUEST came across and checked BUG CATCHER who lost a couple of lengths , soon after that HILLYS TIP raced around and crossed to the rail resulting in BUG CATCHER another check and losing more ground THRILLING DELTA was a scratching with a 14 day stand down imposed THRILLING DELTA A Udy dog presented torn long head triceps,right side rule 64.12. 14 days stand down to and including 5.09.07.
Race 9	BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' - C4 - 305	BIGTIME ELLA dwelt at the start ,which cost her at the finish, but got a good run through to run 3rd FYVIE BELLE was a scratching with a 10 day stand down imposed There was no head on coverage from trackside for this race . FYVIE BELLE P A Taylor vet certificate supplied cuts and abraisons on left hind foot rule 64.12. 10 days stand down to and including 1.09.07.
Race 10	SPICERS PAPER - C2 - 305	SAILAH JANE was slow away As the field raced into the first corner KWIK SOLVE raced around the outside looking to cross and there was tightning between THRILLING BURN,SAILAH JANE, GUS THE BUILDER and HOMEBUSH DIESEL resulting in THRILLING BURN and SAILAH JANE being checked back to the rear where they could not get back into contention thereafter There was no head on coverage from trackside for this race----------.
