Race 1	SID COLE MIDDLE DISTANCE - C1 - 457	SABLE GOLD was handy early in the race but was checked on the bend, lost several lengths and finished in last place. DARK ZEPHYR was handy on the home turn but was checked and lost the chance of a dividend placing.
Race 2	JOE TAPIKI SPRINT - C1 - 375	The favourite VOODOO CHARM was away well but then dropped back and recieved a check on the bend and eventually fiinished in last place. VOODOO CHARM was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 3	PETER PAGE MIDDLE DISTANCE - C2 - 457	LITTLE GYMNIST, CALL ME CUTE and THRILLING ZOE were checked soon after the start, went back to the rear and they never recovered and filled the last three places. JUST FOREVER D.Parata Rule 64 Suffering from a sprained tarsus and stood down for 14 days to and including 01.09.07. ESPADRILLE O.Marron Rule 64 Suffering from sesamoid pain and stood down for 14 days to and including 01.09.07.
Race 4	HONOURING FORMER PRESIDENTS SPRINT - C1 - 375	All clear.
Race 5	BILL DENBEE SPRINT - C2 - 375	MR GULLIVER was checked on the first corner and dropped back causing interferance to BINTANG BERT and DUSTYS REWARD and they finished in the last three places.
Race 6	NANCY COBAIN-SUTTON SPRINT - C5 - 375	SUNSET DOLL and MARTY HALL were checked on the bend and dropped back and CRYSTAL WENDY was checked as a result and lost a couple of lengths and any chance of a placing. CHARLIE CASH who finished in last place, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a gracilus injury. CHARLIE CASH A.Duganzich Rule 82 Suffered a gracilus muscle injury and stood down for 21 days to and including 09.09.07
Race 7	NEW TRACK MANAWATU - C4/5 - 457	JIMMY HALL and HEATHERLEA ROSE were slow to begin lost a couple of lengths. One of the favourites HIGH ACE was handy early but then dropped back and finished in last place. CENTRAL RAIDER was trailing HIGH ACE and was pushed back to near the rear and never recovered. HIGH ACE was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a gracilus injury. HIGH ACE L.Ahern Rule 82 Suffered a gracilus muscle injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 16.09.07
Race 8	MARY MCCOURT SPRINT - C4 - 375	All clear.
Race 9	THANKS TO MANAWATU HARNESS RC - C3 - 457	LIGHTNING STRIKE was slow to begin and settled last but then recovered to finish well for 3rd place.
Race 10	MGRC COMMITTEE SPRINT - C3 - 375	The two favourites THRILLING AUDI and BEAUTIFUL MOMENT were in the first three on the bend but were checked, went quickly back through the field and lost all chance of a placing.
