M.Gardner the Trainer of JUST A DRIP was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.5 kilograms overweight.
D.Bright the Trainer of WAITAHA RUA was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 2.0 kilograms overweight.
J & J Tapiki the Trainer of RAMROD REASON was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 69.11 when presenting the dog 1.3 kilograms overweight.

SKIPPY BOJANGLES stayed back in last place throughout while GATLIN JEWEL recovered to finish in 2nd place. KENMARE was checked and lost ground on the final turn and finished in 6th place.
Race 2	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C3/4 - 520	PALSY O'CEIRIN and THRILLING MONTY jostled together for several strides early in the race, went back to the rear and stayed there to finish in the last two places. THRILLING MAX Freeman & Turnwald Rule 68 A late scratching due to suffering from gastritis and stood down for 10 days to and including 22.08.07.
Race 3	PORTER HIRE PALMERSTON NORTH - C2 - 520	All clear. LOUD RIDDLE Ex Wanganui on 10.08.07 STAUNCH L.Fornasiere Rule 68 A late scratching due to suffering from a carpus injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 22.08.07. THRILLING ZOE Ex Wanganui on 10.08.07. JUST FOREVER D.Parata Rule 64 Suffering from a quadricep injury and was presented and stood down for 7 days to and including 18.08.07.
Race 4	RADIO WORKS - C3 - 305	BIGTIME JULIE ran in from the start and caused jostling to SEXY DELIGHT and JUST ROCKIN who lost some momentum. BIGTIME JULIE was then checked on the first corner, dropped back to last and stayed there to the finish. HOMEBUSH TERRA Ex Wanganui on 10.08.07.
Race 5	HARRIS CONTRACTING SEASON - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH DOUG who was up 4.6 kilograms from its last start was rexamined by the Vet prior to the race and cleared as fit to race. The Trainer M.McCook stated that the increase in weight was by design as it was in his opinion, too light previously. JUST A DRIP began very awkwardly and lost several lengths and all chance and finished in last place. EBONY CYRUS Ex Wanganui on 10.08.07. THRILLING JANE Freeman & Turnwald Rule 64 Suffering a paw injury and stood down for 14 days to and including 25.08.07 HOMEBUSH JESSIE Ex Wanganui on 08.08.07.
Race 6	WIZARD HOME LOANS - C1 - 305	STRATIFY was slow to begin and tailed the field throughout to finish last. EDDIE TOMCAT was checked on the bend and lost ground but recovered to finish in 3rd place.
Race 7	SPICERS PAPER - C3 - 305	All clear.
Race 8	RUSHIRE - C1 - 520	STORM LARGE was checked back to the rear on the first corner and never recovered, finishing in last place.
Race 9	DECO ART LEVIN - C5 - 305	WAITAHA RUA ran out on the first corner and momentarily hindered FRIDAY CULTURE and THRILLING KELLY . WAITAHA RUA continued to move out and covered extra ground on the bend and finished in 2nd last place. SHARIMORE I.Moore Rule 68 A late scratching suffering from enteritis and stood down for 10 days to and including 22.08.07. Subjected to further examination by the raceday Vet and cleared fit race from after 18.08.07.
Race 10	FREEDOM PRINT & DESIGN PN - C2 - 305	THRILLING BURN escaped briefly from the handler and after being recaptured, he was examined by the Vet and cleared fit to race. The handlers explanation was accepted on this occasion. NOOKYS WINK pulled up sore after the race and was examined by the Vet and found to have suffered a pectineus muscle injury and was stood down for 10 days. MR MIARGI Ex Wanganui on 08.08.07. NOOKYS WINK S.Maher Rule 82 Suffered a pectineus muscle injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 22.08.07. THRILLING BURN Freeman & Turnwald Rule 82 Suffered from stopper pad abrasions and stood down for 7 days to and including 19.08.07.
