Judicial report: Weather: Showery W.T.Hodgson was questioned regarding the fact that he was 10 minutes late to kennel a dog and his explanation was accepted on this occasion.

Race 1	METEOR PRINTERS - C1 - 305	One of the favourites DAPTO GLOSS was the slowest away and then ran wide over extra ground on the bend and finished in 5th place. The well supported CRYSTAL SAL was handy to the home turn but checked off the heels of KIA KAHA, lost several lengths and finished in last place.
Race 2	KEENAN CONCRETE - C2 - 305	EBONY CYRUS was checked back to last soon after the start and then checked off the heels of COMANCHE BRAVE on the first corner losing further ground and he finished in 2nd last place. EBONY CYRUS appeared lame after the race, was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a serious toe injury. EBONY CYRUS W.T.Hodgson Rule 82 Checked and suffered a serious toe injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 06.09.07.
Race 3	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C1 - 520	One of the favourites FLY BEAU was pushed wide over extra ground on the first bend and lost all chance of a placing. BRANDY AFFAIR J.McArthur Rule 68 A late scratching due to suffering from a webbing injury and stood down for 21 days to and including30.08.07.
Race 4	RUSHIRE - C3 - 305	All clear. JUDGEMENTAL J.Woolston-Bell Rule 64 Suffering from a pectineus muscle injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 05.09.07.
Race 5	SPICERS PAPER - C2 - 520	One of the favourite LOUD RIDDLE jostled with IN THE MOB soon after the start and was then forced a little wide on the first bend and settled back in the field. LOUD RIDDLE was then checked entering the final bend and finished in 2nd last place. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with muscle soreness. THRILLING ACE was handy on the final bend but was checked when IN THE MOB improved around the outside and dropped back to finish in 4th place. THRILLING ZOE Freeman & Turnwald Rule 64 Suffering from an ear problem with bleeding due to chill blains, was presented and stood down for 5 days to and including 13.08.07. LOUD RIDDLE Freeman & Turnwald Rule 82 Suffering from muscle soreness and stood down for 5 days to and including 14.08.07.
Race 6	WANGANUI STAYERS - HEAT 1 - C2dq - 755 Heat 1	OPAWA ROSE was checked on the first corner and again on the first bend and was well back with a circuit to run but then made up ground well to finish in 3rd place.
Race 7	WANGANUI STAYERS - HEAT 2 - C2dq - 755 Heat 1	SOPHIE HALL began to weaken on the final bend and dropped back causing checks to MAJOR CONQUEST and ROMAN CASTLE who both lost ground and any chance of a placing. HOMEBUSH FALCON Rule 64 Suffering from a hip support injury and stood down for 28 days to and including 06.09.07.
Race 8	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS - C4/5 - 520	LYRICAL BALE moved out on the first corner and RIGHTLY ACCUSED was forced to race a little wide on the first bend. BLASTING POINT also moved out on the first corner and checked ROYAL RICHIE and they dropped back to the rear and stayed there to finish in the last two places.
Race 9	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C4/5 - 305	FANCY LINE was slow to begin and then ran wide over extra ground on the bend and finished in 3rd last place. ZAC ATTACK was handy to the first corner but then galloped on the heels of KYLIES DILEMA and they both lost ground and all chance of a placing.
Race 10	DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C3 - 305	REBEL ALLIANCE was slow to begin and tailed the field throughout and finished last. SWEET SECRET ran in from the start and caused jostling to THRILLING PIPER and HOMEBUSH TERRA for a few strides. ROCKAFELLA ROYALE moved in on the first corner and momentarily hindered SWEET SECRET who had to ease for a couple of strides. STARLIGHT WOODS B.Melville Rule 64 Suffering from a toe injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 18.08.07. MR GULLIVER W.Morris Gained a start in Race 4. HOMEBUSH TERRA C.Clark Rule 82 Suffered a toe nail injury and stood down for 10 days to and including 19.08.07.
