| Race 1 | METEOR PRINTERS - C0 - 305 | As the field jumped away ADAMINSKI came over and checked CORNISH MATTER and EARLY SUNSHINE back through the field. As the field raced into the first bend ADAMINSKI was checked sideways as MIDNIGHT SPOT came off the rail, but lost no ground.Also at that point RUTHLESS MAGIC changed ground out and CORNISH MATTER (2nd fav) was checked back severely losing valuable ground and not being able to make ground thereafter beating one home CORNISH MATTER was given a veterinary examination and was found to have a dew clew injury and a 10 day stand down was imposed. | Race 2 | DIMOCKS RETRAVISION - C2 - 305 | MR MIARGI was awkwardly away from the boxes and was noticed to falter going into the first turn and finished 10 or so lengths behind the field, and was sent for a veteriary examination and stood down for 7 days with muscle soreness. | Race 3 | WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES - C2 - 520 | Going into the first bend THRILLING CLEO had to check back and go wide around the bend losing valuable ground but ran on well for 3rd SEXY BEAST also received a slight check at that point from CATCH CADDY as they raced around the bend. HOMEBUSH JESSIE was observed to lose ground as they entered the first bend and continued to get further back, eventualy finishing a long last and was sent for a veterinary examination which revealed a gracilus muscle injury and a 28 day stand down was imposed. | Race 4 | KEENAN CONCRETE 6 PACK - C1 - 520 | Going into the bend out of the straight the first time STORM LARGE, THREE BUGGS FULL and GRACIE ROSE where checked and forced wide around the bend into the back straight and they finished in that order. Soon after the winning post GRACIE ROSE was observed to falter and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a hock injury. | Race 5 | BRYCE FRANCIS GRAPHICS 'BFG' - C5 - 305 | Soon after the start THRILLING DELTA came across and squeezed BIGTIME STORM and SHARIMORE. In the race to the first corner, SIR KRETION was crossing towards the rail and in doing so caused severe tightening to the field behind him as they ran into the first bend leaving SIR KRETION in front from that point on. | Race 7 | GUTHRIE BOWRON WANGANUI - C4/5 - 305 | Soon after the start AMBEROSE received a slight check as CENTRAL RAIDER came across towards the rail . As the field raced into the first bend THRILLING KELLYcame across and impeded AMBEROSE briefly and AMBEROSE raced at the rear thereafter. THRILLING MELODY and CRYSTAL HISTORY raced wide around the top bend and into the home straight after striking trouble going into the first bend.. |
| Race 8 | MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR - C3 - 305 | As the field where racing into the first turn THRILLING PIPER and BIGTIME JULIE jostled each other for several strides as they where both trying to maintain there position. BIGTIME JULIE lost a couple of lengths at that point ,but ran on well for 3rd. |
| Race 9 | THE RADIO WORKS - C0 - 520 | As the field raced into the first bend SEXY GIRL SUTTON ran out of room as ELLES HOT ran in towards the rail and as a result SEXY GIRL SUTTON changed ground outwards quickly and in doing so took TIMMY VINE out wards forcing that dog very wide around the first bend costing him all chance of a placing. |
| Race 10 | RUSHIRE - C1 - 305 | As the field raced into the first bend there was jostling between BIGTIME ENCORE, HOMEBUSH ROWAN and SWAPPA CRATE for some distance with HOMEBUSH ROWAN being squeezed back to the rear and he never recovered and finished in last place. BIGTIME ANGEL L.Ahern Rule 64 Suffering from gastroenteritis and stood down for 7 days to and including 12.08.07. |
